I think the only two times i took Jacob was Freedom's Progress and his loyalty mission....other than that....he's was banished to the ship

And yeah, I take Jacob with me on the first few missions, because in character my Shepard's are less freaked out by him than Miranda, but it's nice to swap him out for, well, anyone. Miranda's remarkably useful for mechanics, but back to the RP, I have trouble taking her around w/me much. Until post loyalty mission, anyways.

You know what I actually incurred the most wrath for?  The idea that Kaidan had grown a beard at some point over the prior two years.

Really wish you could get Thane earlier... What?  I like him for his Warp.

I didn't want to leave Miranda alone at the ship, in "command" in Shepard's absence. She was staying where I could keep an eye on her.

If you have dinner with Kelly and let her offer to feed them, you never have to talk to her again after that, and you won't have the romance at the end of the game.  The best of both worlds! 

I never got that dialogue.  In fact, she stops talking to me after the initial intro.

My FemShep never flirted with her, but still got the chance to invite her up, so all the fish are well fed.

I think you just have to not be a total douche to her (no renegade responses; neutral or paragon?) and, I think it's after recruiting Garrus, Tali or Thane, you have the option to point out that she's "very loving" in conversation with her.

I think the dinner thing is open after that.

Kaidan would like the fishtank, I think.

funny.  I never talked mean to Kelly at all.  We never did dinner.  No fish feeding service for me.
And well.
I think he would like it from and aesthetic POV.  But might think it was a waste of space in such a ship.

His hair?  i guess I just associate it with him like it is.  But if he had a hard day and some of the strands fell into his eyes, that would be cute, too.

Yeah my Shep was reasonably nice to Kelly and went with the very loving dialogue option but I didn't get the dinner thing either. although I did choose the middle option when she rabbits on about Shepard catching her so that may have had some bearing on it, lol

I know somebody who has simlar looking hair, without the... bump. It's short curls. Never touched it though. Sad.
And he usually shaves his head bald after so long. <_<

Anyhow. =P Been working more on my fanfic, almost ready to post up my first chapter but I'll link everyone to it once it is readable. On the perfect date thing, I definitely think a night in with Kaidan is what Livia (my FemShep) would do as well.

On another note, playing through ME2 again, why does no one EVER ask why TIM has eyes like Saren's? Or why his eyes are just jacked up period? I mean for someone who was supposedly a normal family business guy, before he got involved with Cerberus, I don't see him naturally having those eyes. I mean really - that's the first thing I'd ask if I met him. xD

Yeah there are a lot of unanswered questions in ME2.  I still think he's taken advantage of the reaper tech Cerberus managed to glean from bits of Sovereign.  He probably wanted the collector base to get more and make himself superhuman.  Shepard was probably a guinea pig with the Lazarus project for him to eventually make himself super human.  It always amazed me that given all they knew about Shepard that he seemed surprised when she told him to take a hike at the end.  Did he really think she'd just merrily go along with him given that he knows she doesn't trust him or Cerberus?

I have a hard time believing he didn't foresee any possible ending/s/. He's still gotta have some sort of plan for you either way.

I'd imagine he'd be more surprised if Shep didn't tell him to ****** off and instead saved the base and stuck with Cerberus.



I see a lot of people that use the theory that he is a "rogue reaper" o.O

I actually like that one. But you'd have to tie that into "being at awe at the discovery of the prothean tech blah blah blah" part of his life.

Yeah I fully expect TIM to go after Shepard in some way. Then theres the fact that he had Shep's body for 2 years so he could have a clone or something standing by somewhere just to add to the confusion over Shep's loyalties amongst the Alliance/council/Kaidan
Then there's EDI - I'm sure he has some sort of fail safe plan to cover all eventualities with an AI as well.

If you destroy the base, then do your usual rounds with the crew after, Jacob makes a comment to the effect of "Both the Reapers and Cerberus are after you." This made me think that TIM is soooo going after Shepard somehow.

Edit: And, yes, this was probably the only time I talked to Jacob aside from the conversation about his loyalty mission, lol.  I figured it was safe to talk to him after beating the game and not have to worry about cheating on Kaidan.
