Yea, I suspect so. I guess I'm just lamenting the loss of what could have been a more complex choice. Although they should have done a better job letting the player know of their positions, the choice between Harrowmont and Bhelen in Dragon Age: Origins was great. Both choices had pros and cons that made the decision rather equal.

Doubt that will backfire in ME3 though.

Agreed. Although I would like for Udina to redeem himself and stop being "epic fail guy" all the time.

It's true, in the first game, Udina's actions are actually reasonable if you stop and think about them, but the way he's portrayed just makes him into a jerk.  And in the second, if he's working with Anderson, he's too annoying for most people to listen to what he has to say.

It'd be pretty crazy if in the last game, Anderson hinders you, despite being well intentioned, but ambitious Udina actually is able to help.  Crazy!

I made the Anderson choice also. When I play through with my "cheater" character, I'll have to try Uldina and also to actually save that stupid council this time.

EDIT:  GOodnight all!  May lovely thoughts of Kaidan fill your dreams.

I personally like the reunion with Anderson more if Udina is councilor too.

But what Fire said I agree, I do respect the dude, but personally he's hard to like.

Do you think Kaidan or Wrex or Liara or whomever from the old Squad could come back and join us in ME3? Maybe not Wrex but ya. With 12 squadmembers, how likely is it? Think they'll off someone first from the ME2 squad before ME3 starts?

EDIT: also from my last post, I saved Kaidan and left Ashley to die in a nuclear fire. I was just wondering who else made the right choice. :P

I actually think instead of just having a three man cell, they should bump it up to four and maybe make the enemies a bit harder.

i hope everyone gets their favorite crewmates back in me3.  i'm not picky nor a soothsather so i can't expound on your questions.  though having more than three options for the battlefield would be nice.  and since i'm a fan of both ash and kaidan, virmire sucks for my femshep.  she doesn't think there is a right choice.

I think it's highly likely that the VS and Liara will be back. I don't think Wrex will be back; he was a special cameo just for ME1 people. From the ME2 squad, I don't think the dlc characters will be back, but I'm not sure about the other squaddies.

I don't think there was a right or wrong with Virmire... a lot of us in this thread loved Ash and the decision was difficult. But when it's chicks vs dicks, the dicks win

I wouldn't like it if the DLC characters aren't back. I mean I would understand, but as you can see in my sig...I want Kasumi back. She was funny.

I think both Zaeed and Kasumi will go their own way. Kasumi has to lay low if you saved the data for her, I didn't but I know a lot did. With any luck Samara will probably go off justicaaring and Tali will go back to get the quarians ready to fight the reapers. Thane is dying so he'll want to spend his last months with Kolyat. So that gets rid of 5 of them for me hopefully. I'd like to keep Mordin but given his age he may decide to go as well though. 12 squadmates was way too many to begin with when you can only take 2 with you on any given mission. But I would ditch any or all of them to get Kaidan back in my squad, lol

Also a lot of people are going to have playthroughs where not everyone survived. Everyone survived in all my playthroughs so I have to get rid of some of them somehow, lol

I think all of the ME2 squadmates would have a reason to leave, except for Miranda and Jacob. And I'm with you, Sesh. Though I liked some of the ME2 squadmates, I'd be okay if they were throw under the plot bus to get Kaidan back.

Yeah I'm reserving judgement on ME3. But I won't be getting it unless I know for sure that Kaidan is a squaddie and that he and Shep get a happy ending. I'm hoping that bioware were being truthful when they said the ME1 LI's play an important part in ME3 and not just blowing smoke, but I also hope that the important part makes them squaddies rather than just someone you talk to over the comm occasionally (or just get letters from that shep can't reply to) and meet up with for a lets have sex cause tomorrow we could die type scenario.. Yep I'm just full of sunshine and roses lately, lol

Jacob: I only take him with me in the beginning when there is no one else to take with me. Then I go recruit Garrus and take Garrus and Miranda. As soon as I got Jack, I take Garrus and Jack until I have Thane, then it's Garrus and Thane, overload and warp plus two sniper rifles.....sweet action! 

Vanguards: When I tried that, I had no idea what Charge did. I tried, and ended up in the middle of a bunch of Vorcha. Holy crap. Thought, naaaah, I want my heavy warp back! And my singularity. Nothing like placing a few singularities when getting the reaper iff to keep the husks away. God i love how they always run into it and then swooosh around :lol:

I love the Arc Projector for heavy mechs. Three shots and they are down! Awesome! Usually have my geth shield boost up for that when it takes to charge but it's so damn worth it. If mechs had a face they would totally go OMGWTFBBQ when getting hit first
