 Great metaphor -- Christmas indeed.  Funny how getting a review feels like a present!

I love reviews!  I'm not so good at writing them, cause I always feel like I should write something about more specific than "yay! more?" but I can seldom think of a more helpful reaction.  *laughs*

And I currently have six different Word windows open in the so far vain hope I can drag a couple words out for one of them... *sighs*

I am stuck at my Shep's background story too. Well, not really stuck, just not in the writing mood lately, although I have started the next chapter already. Right now I'm working on a galaxy map of ME2. I miss my photoshop

@Shenzi: Well, two of them are different parts of LfW, and then there's the sudden need to write some Infiltrator/Renegade Shep for contrast, and then a couple RP characters I've been neglecting. And some DAO dwarven silliness, inspired by the dArt "the female is deadlier than the male" challenge I completely missed a few weeks back. *shrugs* I'm not actually working on any of them though, mostly just staring. I usually only have one or two open, but I'm not sure which one or two the muse might cooperate with today, so... all of them are sitting there glaring at me.

I've got the revision of The Rescue open. The working version, too, so I can add to it. A Paragon of Virtue is also open. As is my own IP.

The only one I don't have open is Loved.

Squadmates... I have a hard time imagining Garrus and Tali not returning. In fact, I think it'd be stupid not to include them if they survived. They're both fan favorites and been there with you from the beginning. It'd be stupid not including the VS and Liara too, especially after the whole "important rolls!!1 lol!1"

If I had to literally choose between Garrus and Kaidan, the circumstances would have to depend. Is Garrus with a group of people and Kaidan alone, trapped by the enemy? If I only have the option to go after one, I'd go after Garrus. If it was the reverse, I go after Kaidan. It'll hurt either way, but that's how I take it.
Curious about Thane, I saw rumors about ME3 taking place a year later but I don't count on rumors that early. Maybe in one of the endings after beating the Reapers he finally dies.
