I feel like the world's biggest dork to admit it but I've made my own ME novel out of various fanfics which I made into a PDF and keep on my kindle. 

I started off with Iunctio and ended with After the End (my favorite all time ME fanfic) and then edited together various pieces for the ME2 section.   Of course I also edited the document to make it consistent with name, appearance and background of my Shepard as well.  
  
I'm constantly updating and editing the document as the fanfics are published, a project I'm sure I'll keep working on till ME3 comes out and my Shepard can get a real resolution to her story.

Right now I'm impatiently waiting for Impsy to come out with the follow up to Demigod, Demigod made Joker even more awesome if that's possible.

It's gonna be a long long  2 + years till M3.

If that's After the End by HarpandSword that's my favorite too. The bit at the end where they are in front of the council and they address Shepard and Kaidan interrupts and says" Actually it's Alenko" is absolutely priceless.  A really great fic.

Lol, yeah I had a rare moment at about 2am about a week ago.  Waiting for inspiration to strike again for another news bulletin.  Unfortunately my brain has turned to mush with age & having spent the last 6 years helping teens with high school essays (jeez I finished high school back in 1982).

I was going for tact in not mentioning Jacoblob, lol.  Although to be fair I don't hate Jacob (he's far too bland to hate, lol), I hate the person who thought it was a good idea for Hale to use that tone of voice for that one particular line of dialogue.

Haha!  I'm in the middle of playing CoD:MW2, needed some mindless violence and I hit refresh on my laptop to be confronted with this!

I wish I had even a little bit of talent at writing, I’ve had a story in my mind for awhile now with serious Kaidan angst in it.
 
Lets face it, coming back from the dead would be very hard to comprehend or believe.   While Kaidan might believe it is the truth on some level, on another level he would have a hard time really believing that Shepard hadn’t just been hiding out with Cerberus for 2+ years.
 
This fic would fit neatly after Demigod & Joker's little talk with Kaidan.   In this story it would have Joker dumping everything he managed to hack out of the Cerberus database having to do with project Lazerus on Kaidan; Miranda’s logs, scientific data and of course pictures & videos of Shepard from beginning to end of the project. The end point of the data would be a video of Shepard waking up under gunfire, he’d see her in pain, scars at their worst struggling to get up and defend herself and just to make it really painful calling out his name at the end.
 
I think Kaidan would start drinking as soon as he started playing Miranda’s logs, the first one would be a discussion of corpse retrieval and of Liara’s role in providing Cerberus with the body and as much as he tried to keep himself from doing it he would have to look at the pictures of Shepards’ corpse. Kaidan would also be enraged by the snide comments by the scientists about the woman he loves.   You know they would be commenting on her appearance and lamenting that they couldn’t make her more attractive.   I think Kaidan would also be having thoughts of all the grim things he would do to Miranda if he ever got the chance to meet up with her one on one.
 
I think that Kaidan would need a few days to sort everything out in his mind after going through all the info Joker gave him but he would be resolved to trying to pick up the pieces of the relationship and make it work again. However since we’re in an angst heavy story he’d find out that Shepard had just taken her team through the Omega 4 relay and all he could do at that point is just wait and see if the woman he loves survives and returns to him.

So that's a summary of what my one shot piece would be if I had any writing ablitliy at all.
