I have so many bits and pieces of Ella and Kaidan from ME1&2 I keep debating actually writing some of it, but I don't actually have a plot for them, just bits. *shrugs* Not that lack of plot is stopping LfW, but I'd rather not have a second random jumble of character-interactions. My brain might turn to mush.
And cause I like Aimo:

Kyrie might actually be worse than Meghan. And Meghan killed me to write.
Course, I haven't had Avery's flashback for it yet.
You're going to have to start including a "recommended alcohol pairing" per chapter for your beta readers soon.
I needed a drink afer Meg's funeral and Meg's Horizon. Avery's Horizon flashback I'm sure will be just as brutal.
I'm leaning toward it being Kaidan's POV, just to make it worse. :innocent:

*Hugs* I'll warn you to have some wine or something ready. Maybe even the hard stuff.

Yes. Yes he does. Warden looks too rough and LOOK AT MY Y CHROMOSOME... looking for me.
Don't get me wrong, he's still an attractively drawn guy (and I like the whole Y Chromosome screaming-thing), I just think Kaidan... smoulders more? In his version. His eyes definitely follow you, that's for sure. The Warden's... not so much.

I still think he's attractive, but I was speaking video game wise - rough and tough in a video game got old for me a long time ago..

Jho's L2 definitely has spectacularly smoldering eyes. I so want to write a scene for it, but nothing I've managed is as good as it is. Yet. (The Warden looks like he's proud of his bad@ssery, but Alenko looks like he's protecting something important, and is actually much more intimidating. imho, of course.)
This.

Yes, but in a world where the standard is usually the 12 year olds of JRPGs.... rough and tough is better. Though I prefer Leon Kenedy to Chris Redfield. Just for two random examples.
Also another reason to prefer Kaidan Alenko. He's tough without being a jerk.

There's a scene in Ella/Kaidan background where Ella is trying to remind herself she's a professional, and Alenko's a professional, and she should remember he's a Marine, and a Sentinel, and could take her down with his tech or his biotics or his gun, and she completely fails to stop her imagination's decent into the gutter at that train of thought. Tough w/o being a jerk is wonderful, and distressingly rare.
Screw professionalism.
Avery: Strip, Soldier!
Kaidan: You first . . . ma'am.

Granted, I did like the kid at the bottom for as far as I actually got into the game before I got stuck.

Though, actually, the rules were very important to Ella. Before the Alliance grounded her ship, and ignored her warnings, and then smeared her name after she died. She doesn't have much use for them anymore.
(She's the character who actually would've said 'yes' when Alenko asked if she got that close to all her crew, in a vain, vain attempt to pretend she wasn't completely falling for him.)

Probably the same advice he gives for Jacob. Inventive uses for biotics. Though he won't warn you to check for bugs afterwards.

I got to that point in Jacob's romance and nearly died laughing, because Mordin makes it clear where he's hinting you should check.
