I'm in the process of making a single Shep for Thane. I can justify moving on to your best friend after Kaidan, but I can't justify moving on to a stranger from him. And for one of my Sheps, I can't even justify moving on at all. Especially to someone who's dying.

The looks don't really matter a whole lot for me. It's how they're written. Which is why, though I like how Jacob looks.... he will get only the one romance from me unless ME3 redeems him.

Which I doubt because....It's Jacob
Now, being serious, Writers pay more attention to the LIs for maleShep!<_<

Actually, the most bizarre thing I've seen about Thane is his disproportionately small feet.

the first thing I saw of Thane was when my friend was playing through with his male!Shep...and doing Thane's LM. I saw Thane disappear into the crowd and was like 'HOLY CRAP NINJA!"

Question regarding the Normandy DLC. Do you think it would have been more compelling had the VS been the one to run around the wreckage collecting dog tags, placing the monument, finding the helmet, rather than having Shepard do it?

I don't like the DLC...it makes little sense to me...but in wondering what they could have done to fix it, it occured to me that it could have been a very compelling bit of DLC had they simply changed out Shepard for the Virmire Survivor. Particularly if they placed it in a time shortly after the Normandy went down rather than two years later.

I can see Kaidan finding the dog tags, flashing back in some areas and it would actually have been a bit more emotional for me. Particularly if they had a night before Ilos flashback of some kind.

I liked the crashsite DLC. It gave me goosebumps because it was just so quiet there. The VS version would have been a nice thing as well, maybe with Shep visiting the site later on to see that someone had been there, placing the monument and all. What I liked about it were Presley's datapads from which you could see the change of his outlooks on the aliens on board of the Normandy. That really made me feel sad that he had died in the attack.

I would have liked the VS doing the mission, but the problem would have been people whining about immersion. Of course, there's that immersion-breaking Joker mission instead which doesn't get any points with me.

It was an okay dlc, but they did have to do it for the single Sheps out there. The Pressley part was good though. They did customize a flashback of whoever died on Virmire, but I would have liked a quick flashback if you had a romance. That wouldn't have taken any time at all (same with Kasumi mentioning th4e VS)

They don't pay attention to us:crying:

I didn't like it just for the big mistake they made with the normandy, It was supposed to be teared appart where it said NORMANDY but in the DLC you see that part of the ship perfectly fine. That big mistake shows how much effort they putted in that DLC.

I gave in to catch on here... I would need another week to do so...
If I missed something very important, would you let me know... so I won´t die ignorant...^_^

I´m still hanging around in ME1, but that´s not bad, because I´ve got a lot of time with Kaidan;)

it would have been inifintely more impactful for me had kaidan been in shepard's role.  the renewed pain caused by discovering shepard's helmet thus reliving their last moments together.  the overwhelming grief of her death still lingering in his mind and heart.

Being able to see a flashback of everybody, even Garrus and Tali, would of been nice. A nice "the good ol' days" feeling.

A flashback VS scene would, imho, have made more sense, and offered some extra emotion too. I mean, Hackett, who apparently doesn't actually believe your Shepard enough to support you in the Alliance, or call you, or anything, still wants to send you to make a memorial. (I assume it was some elaborate test to see if Shepard was really Sheaprd, myself, I just don't know how it was supposed to work.)

I'll be sending Kate and Kaidan out there together at some point in the future since I revised the ME2  timeline in my A/U fic.

Going have to set aside some of the booze I've stashed away for beta reading Sia's work for when I get around to writing that piece.
