Yes mostly because JenSjep looks great here, but you can see a veryy blurry Kaidan watching her (love how he always does that when Shepard speaks!)

and this one because they appear to be alone in a dark and secluded place...and Kaidan looks suggestive. Insert *IMAGINATION* here.

You know, you're right.  hehe  that's so sweet that his eyes are always on her  Posted Image

Yeah like sending the rest of your team that your not with to save the other person... actually thats not that difficult lol

Yeah.  You missed the recent conversation we had here about who all we would be willing to sacrifice to keep kaidan safe.

the answer came down to even the entire galaxy in some cases.  LOL

LOL thats pretty funny I liked Ashley a lot but my shep wouldn't do anything like that. I guess I can understand though you guys (girls whatever) didn't really get a lot of great guys to choose from in ME2 and we get Miranda Posted Image I can understand why some would keep him at all costs.

I can't help but see some similarities between the two.
Kaidan's ethnicity is hard enough to pin point as it is.

Really?  I don't see much resemblance.  But I haven''t  really seen his visual performances either.  I tried watching a little, but Carth/Kaidan's voice coming out of someone light-haired and behind bars (the character was a baddie) just kinda creeped me out and I shut it off.  Posted Image

He usually acts as a bad guy that had a troubled childhood. CSI and Law and Order stuff.

The suicide mission is incredibly easy to do once you figure out the "formula" to get past. Unfortunately there are/were some people that though using Jacob for the biotic barrier was a genius idea and when their squadmate died because of it, they yelled on the forums that the game is bugged. XD

For ME3, I don't want a "Okay, choose this person and the other will die." choice, I want a sudden, abrupt incident that happens and you don't see it coming. Each to their own, though.

True, Batteries.
I made sure to be spoiler-free for ME.  And the decision between my squadmates hurt.  But there also wasn't a question of who had to be rescued.  But it did make an impact on me and on the story.  One of the things that makes the story great.

I like the idea of another choice like that.  I would be interesting if it came in the form of having to choose between loves if the character had a ME2 love interest.

@Batteries: Same here, I never saw the Virmire choice coming, but in ME2 suicide mission its a logical puzzle; I saved everyone, including the whole Normandy crew on my very first playthrough. I'd much prefer a sudden decision in ME3 where you have to actually make a decision, not an IQ test.

I think I'm the only one here where my main Shep is single (second one romanced Kaidan and will play that right after) and who would leave him behind to save a group of people or the universe. I'd feel like absolute crap and may tear up the first time at a video game afterwards, but there it is :crying:

I actually want to see some choice/consequences come to play, but I want it to be on the galatic scale - not the immediate crew.

Say, Shepard only has "X" amount of troops and resources, and a Reaper is currently attacking Turian space and another is attacking Human space. Shepard has to make a choice to go one direction and send NPCs to handle the other. And it could have dire repercussions depending on the decisions from the game and the previous games (kind of like Awakening).

ME3 should be a full fledged war against the Reapers. There has to be losses on Shep's side.

Ah!  Good point.

You know what's cool about these forums and reading fan fic?  You get so much more out the story of the game.  Like your point above.
Like the fact that Anderson likely sent Alenko out to Horizon as bait for you and that he more than likely timed it so that Kaidan would be gone by the time you answered his summons to the Citadel.
Things that I didn't really catch at first glance.
so thanks ladies for making this story even more interesting  Posted Image

that's why i'm grateful i found this board.  everyone has varying viewpoints on the plot or characters and it adds that much more to the overall gameplay for me.

My first playthrough I lost all of the crew (d'oh!)
I lost Legion because I had Zaeed leading the second group and then Zaeed died.  I regretted losing the crew and Legion.  Second playthrough I got everyone out because I had Garrus lead instead.

Oh Virmire teared me up the first time- that's how shocked I was since I'd never had a decision like that in a game before. And it helps (doesn't help?)that the game is amazing for immersion, so you really do feel a pang.

Shepard lost her best friend and singing buddy on Virmire. I imagine that once she beats the collectors, Shepard will visit Ash's memorial every year at least to read Ulysses ;)

Yeah.  I agree.  makes the story richer.  But I don't want it to be tragic in the LI department.  If they kill off Kaidan/Ash after everything I think I will be sick and depressed for a while.  I want a happy ending for a faithful Shepard darn it!

there's definetely going to be a happy ending I thought the suicide mission was going to be very hard but it's actually really easy I'm sure they might make it to where people HAVE to die but I'm sure you can make it to where your shepard lives happily ever after with whoever male or female. Also this something that I wonder will those who cheated on their ME1 LI have to choose between the 2 or will another LI be introduced?

@PlumPaul: Probably both; you can choose between the two old ones or bag yourself a new one. Though part of me hopes that they calm down with if not stop introducing new LIs. By ME2, there were too many to keep track of. TOO MANY PEOPLE TO POLITELY DECLINE!

Re: The Normandy crash site.

Now that you mention it, I do think it would have been more meaningful for Ashley or Kaidan to have been there instead of Shepard, and it would have made more sense than Hackett calling Shepard out of the blue as soon as she wakes up.

I mean, even if you aren't romancing Kaidan/Ash, they are still important.  It could have been a stand-alone module.

Heck, if tIM send Shepard instead, sans memorial, it might have been more meaningful (in his trying to gain her trust/prove that things really did go down that badly).  And Shepard could have collected the dog tags and sent them off to Hackett (or not) of her own volition.

(although I did enjoy it, the timing was just kinda... wth?)

Re: The Terminus Systems.  It's kinda weird that the Normandy is investigating (presumably) Alliance ship disappearances in the first place.  They could be investigating colony ship disappearances, but that would mean that the Alliance is investigating the colony problems and the whole "Shepard working for Cerberus because no one else is doing anything" is poised to go out the window again.

Then again, Ilos is officially claimed by Citadel space forces, and it's Terminus space, isn't it?

(and perhaps the Alliance sent a rescue immediately because it was Shepard?)

... I need to stop thinking.

I thought the lady gamers would be upset about this, only being able to choose from: Liara (basically a chick), Kaidan, Jacob, Thane and Garrus (lol...), and I'm sure theres someone I'm missing. I thought that you guys especially would want more LI's.

i wonder what will happen to the crew from me2 and how they'll be written in me3 when in some gamer's playthroughs they'll be dead.  and i'm not sure i can handle more romances in the third game.  i hope the developers focus on the ones we already have.

It might be slightly hypocritical of me to say, but please... NO NEW LIs IN ME3!

In fact, I'd rather not see any new recruitable characters (with the obvious exception of the ME1 crew), though that's probably wishful thinking.

This.

I felt like every time I turned around on the Normandy someone new was hitting on Shep.
