Fraternization rules are in place to avoid the situation that Virmire puts you in: MISSION VS LOVER or BEST FRIEND over Mission what have you.

Also arguing against the pro cerberus crew is a blast since they are so rude yet call me rude the whole time.

How is this for my sig: LOOKS LIKE TEAM CERBERUS IS BLASTING OFF AGAIN!

literally Team Rocket does a better job than cerberus folks. and that is sad.

But I'm not rude and mean. :(

Miranda's outfit is suddenly much less skanky in context...:lol:

The suit coming up onto the back of his head looks neat. His hair looks... pulled back in this one. :o

I think that's supposed to be his implant.  It's kinda... bolted to his skull or something.  And Ashley doesn't seem to have it; for comparison:

I'm glad they didn't end up doing biotic amps like that in the game... IMO biotics are better when they're hidden; it increases the fear of biotics by not knowing who is one and it adds to the lore.

Edit: Also, it makes biotics much more like a machine kind of skill rather than an elemental one by having a big amp like that...

At least Biotics isint mystical like the force, since that is silly to do, although it is similar.

I want ME3 to come out, but I doubt it will come out in 2011.

I liked the force in Star Wars. The mystique was great. That is, before it was ruined by "midichlorians"

True.  The only advantage I can see with the old amp is an increased body horror value.  And they probably couldn't have hacked it with Shepard's various hairstyles, anyway.

I'm still curious what the amp jack looks like, though.  It does need to be kept clean.  :?

Just for fun:

yes. biotics just rock. they manage to be cool and magicy without going into the realm of "just because" or "word and will" like so many magic powers do and then they're just annoying to me.

biotics have clear limits, but really cool scope. imo, one of the things i LOVE about me.

no joke! when i see people say "cerberus isn't that bad" i want to know

1) have they played the first game?

2) do they have any sense of ethical decency at all?

3) do they LIKE being used as a tool for a coldhearted megalomaniac. Cause, ya know, what floats your boat and all, but me, i sort of prefer my employers to be non-psycho.

speaking of which, gonna go rescue jack...

I think the prequels ruined it more. It went from something mystical and deep into:
BOOM SPLOSIONS LIGHTING!

Watch RedLetterMedia's review of Episode 2 if you want a better rundown.

Simply put most of them are not overly bright, and think that trying to place a human first galactic overlord on top is somehow going to A) Work, and B) they dont care about ethics since "HUMANS ARE ALWAYS RIGHT AND ALIERNS ARE BAD!"

The amp is typically located at the base of the skull, according to the codex. It would likely be concealable by hair.

Technically, midichlorians were in the prequels. Yea, the prequels are pretty much fail if you ask me. The technical aspects are of course impressive, but the plot and characters are wanting.

Watch RedLetterMedia's review of Episode 2 if you want a better rundown.

That's making me think of what I saw in Halo 3 with the spartan.

It'd be nice to have a short hairstyle for femshep that isnt made to be "cute."
With bangs would be my pref too.
and dang, speakig of editing shep, I really want the camera to zoom in to her eyes when you choose an eye color, I hate having to guess the colors. :pinched:

Totally going Malcom Reynolds in 3.

I'm with you...ps even if that means i have to Kidnap Kaidan away from them to have him.

Should we get out the big fuzzy handcuffs?  Posted Image

FIre Eye:
Wait, no, I got it: the ME1 faithful LI will be a major help only to be killed off in the beginning and encourage you to move on, like they were unable to, with their dying breath, in order to push you towards the all new ME3 LI's.  Because Bioware learned what went wrong with pushing you towards the the all new ME2 love interests.

(... I think I'll stick to my ME1 replays, thank ye kindly...)

Yeah.  I really enjoyed the story and the graphics in ME2.
But in playing ME1 again now, I am really relishing just having Kaidan with my new Shepard all the time.
After all those pics that were shown today of Kaidan in the background watching Shepard, I've been watching him rather than Kara today during the conversations.  His eyes aren't always on her, but they shift back to her often.

And I forgot about that cute the kinda shy blinking/eye closing thing is that he sometimes does when he is talking to Shepard.  Posted Image

Giggles:

Yeah.  So not happening.  ME1 came out in 2007.  ME2 this year.
Next year Bioware has both DA2 and The Old Republic.  No way that they would also release a third huge RPG game in the same year.  And don't forget that this game is going to have to have more story permutations than the previous.  So it likely will be more complex to make.  My guess would be 2013 or so before we see it.  Posted Image

@sagequeen:  Yes!  More hairstyle choices.  I like longer hair, but don't want to use the same one hairstyle on every character.  Posted Image

Good night all!  Time for FF reading and then off to bed.  Have many dreams filled with honey-brown eyes and lopsided shy smiles.
