Mine wouldn't send anything back at all, but I like the idea of sending a message saying "I'd like that."

Hahaha. This

EDIT: Can someone please post a top of the page Kaidan for me, my internets being funny. Thanks :D

@Jade - my shep (named Jade, lol) wrote a heartfelt letter to Kaidan as well. I think it was the 2nd fic I ever attempted, before I discovered random stupidity, lol. It's very sappy but I still think thats what she would do. she's also an adept and also has a foul temper if she gets riled up enough, lol.

re shepard's email - I have no idea how everyone and their dog in the galaxy has it. I still think that either Miranda or Kelly are not doing a very good job of filtering her mail, given that one or both of them would be checking it. I still don't understand why they let Kaidan's email through to her at all.

My Shep was fully realized that both women likely riffled through her e-mail.  It didn't really bother her--except with Kaidan's.  It pissed her off the (1) they read something so personal about both of them and (2) they go to see it before she did (3) might have altered it in some way.

Why would they let it through?  POV, I would assume.  To Miranda who's never let anyone close, it probably seemed a pretty non-committal letter.  Especailly considering that last line.  And if he states that he's upset with her for being with Cerberus.  Probably no harm done.
Kelly?  Who knows why she would have let it through.  Perhaps because she knew (because she was one of two people who asked) that the encounter on Horizon was hard on her and the letter would lift her spirits.  Moral problem solved.

Re: Vanguard playstyle:

As it was said, it's typically a close quarters oriented role. It's aggressive, reckless, and easily teetering into crazy/insane territory. It's very easy to get yourself killed, but it's been my absolute favorite. Anything can be taken with Charge!

I found charge got me into too much trouble but then I don't have an aggressive playstyle and hate being at close quarters (unless I have a sword and can bash the hell out of something, lmao), so my vanguard playthrough got abandoned reasonably quickly, lol. I'll stick with my adept and sentinel which suit me much better, lol.

Vanguard has been my favorite play through, done solider, adept and sentinel as well.

I was hooked from the very first time I hit charge Posted Image

Didn't realize "crazy" was a class defining trait till we started having our talks about the characteristics of our vanguard fic toons.

<-Sentinel. Likes to have everything covered. No matter how you'll read that: a set of skills needed in battle or emotional preparation. Playstyle differs from player to player, but in Marge's case it's all about controlling the battlefield - first stripping enemies from cover, then letting the bullets or fists do their thing.

It's a very neutral approach, but seems to fit her well - she's controlling herself since Akuze, she wants to be prepared for every contingency, not wanting to be stumped, repeat mistakes or being caught with any weakness.

(sorry, browser error)

I love my Vanguard. It was the first character I ever played as when ME came out. And now that they have added Charge, there is nothing better than getting in close and shooting someone in the facePosted Image Good Times all around!

@ Jade I really liked your letter... Your shep is way better with words than minePosted Image

Tris is a soldier and she's very fond of her AR and sniper rifle. Sorcha is my Vanguard. She died pretty frequently the first time but I'm replaying her having added reave (thanks Sapphy for mentioning the importance of this some time back) and I'm enjoying her thoroughly. I do have an aggressive playstyle and didn't like dying so much! I'm also fond of Sentinel class.

Both Ariana and Zinya are soldiers.
Zin started out as an Adept at one point and I played her all the way through, but she died so easily and I had trouble with the biotics ... yes much better with a gun!! So I restarted her as a soldier and it's much better, but that adept thing was what made me think she is weaker then Ariana. *shrugs*

this topic needs a Kaidan to stay on track....

The great thing about Kaidan is that he is versatile and fits well with any other class.  ^_^

I imagine many people wtf the first time they see how many pages Kaidan has on his thread. They're probably surprised he even has a thread. He's one you pretty much assume has no support.

Kimbri was an adept.
Kara is my new playthough as a Sentinel.  I'm enjoying going through ME1 with Kaidan at my side again and the two of blowing up everything in our path.  (Who's the third character in the grouping?  Meh.  Who cares.  Posted Image

Yeah.  Amazing for a character that is generally considered to be "whiny" if you believe the vocal minority.  Posted Image

Late response on FShep trying to hide the nature of the relationship with Kaidan when confronted by Tim...
Epic Fail considering the picture in the cabin, no?
Besides the fact that the first trip of my Shepard was to the Citadel, kicking down Anderson's door to get info on Kaidan's whereabouts... another Epic Fail...

yeah, it doesn't make any sense. i guess we're supposed to overlook these things.

A lot of things don't make sense. Like how does everyone know about this relationship that was so secret in the first place? Oh well I guess life isn't supposed to make sense huh Ki.

And right you are!
Life is full of 'no sense' and epic fails... of gutter, dirty thoughts and oblivion - actually that sounds rather accurate too.
Heh - lovely thought before heading to bed.
