Welcome Poison... there are a bunch of links down below in my sig for newbies .. The Fan Fic's which are wonderful these are mostly our Authors that write about Kaidan, and our Artists that are awesome!!!
Ref: the Suicide mission... To me it doesn't matter if Kaidan knows before had that it is a suicide mission - once it is known that the Normandy has gone throught the Omega 4 relay it is known then that it is a suicide mission... Remember no ship has ever returned and at that point Kaidan has now way of knowing about the IFF even if there is a spy on the Normandy- because even the Normandy had no way of knowing if they could get back safely - It was all conjecture.
The minute Kaidan and for that matter Anderson and the Council hear that the Normandy has gone through the relay then know that the chances of survival are slim. No ship has ever returned... none. IMHO of course.

Depending on the world you are playing in, a Paladin could follow whichever alignment is befitting his god. The more "generic" D&D keeps that Paladins have to be Lawful Good though.
Also, more than just Paladins are Lawful Good. I've played a Fighter that ended up getting shifted from Chaotic Good to Lawful Good. And. unless your Paladin had taken specific vows to be celibate or abstain from falling in love, that shouldn't have been a reason to justify a severe shift in alignment. At best, it should have just required an Atonement.
*clears her throat and squelches her inner D&D nerd*
And I agree. Kaidan would be NG.

4th Edition really shines if you have a group that is willing to (a) take the time to learn to play it and (
It's not bad, but it's different. We've had a very enjoyable game going on for over a year. But like any game, it really depends on the group. (And it helped that we learned the new system as we went along making it easier to work together as a group in character.)

Joker would be Chaotic Good. Chakwas would be Neutral Good. Pressly would be Lawful Good and take a shift to Neutral Good at the last minute. Anderson would be Neutral Good. Udina would be Lawful... Neutral? Good? Evil? ...Jenkins would be... Chaotic Neutral?
... is this really how you spell Neutral? It looks... wrong.

Sadly my Paladin tossed out his codebook after his "Brothers" killed villagers for following an older god who required very small amount of bloodlettings for harvest time( like a pinprick) but since no one backed down I killed three others to try and stop them.
Besides the vagrant powers where different but awsome. I miss that campaign since acting as a group Jimeny Cricket as I got called was fun.

i HATE that corridor on korlus. no freakin cover.
on topic: i just checked my fraps movie of anderson and no where does shep say she's going through the relay at all, nor does it come up. so far as i can tell, if you pick the "paragon" option, she simply says there are collector attacks and she thinks they're connected to the reapers, and she is with cerberus to investigate. if you pick the middle option, she gets distracted by arguing about saren and soverign. i think the rengade is her defending cerberus. so it seems to me that she never gets into the suicide mission nature with it, becuase it neatly steps around her mission altogether and gets off on a tangent about if the reapers are real or not.
so, going back to the earlier discussion, it's possible anderson doesn't know that investigate means go through the omega 4 relay and taken on on their own turf. even if he does, i highly doubt he tells kaidan. anyhow, my take is that kaidan, anderson, all of them, don't realize what she's about to do. why she doesn't tell them? dialog magic? or pride? or worry for them worrying? not sure.

I took an alignment quiz as Faith Shepard and I found that she's lawful evil...

My Shepard didn't want them to know. She didn't want to contact them in the first place, she just wanted to disappear after the Collectors were dealt with (which was the last mission the Alliance gave to her).

lol, not at all. it's that corridor on korlus that the week old krogan opens for you. as you come down the pipe, there are two mercs with shields and there is NO cover.
in game, i'm actually at....horizons.
starting playing now. i will likely come out crying and in need of fanfiction.

And Udina=evil. I don't care how much make up you put on him. EViillll.. Mostly, because I was really mad that I felt sorry for him at the beginning of ME1 and then he stabbed me in the back.

I still maintain Kaidan is Neutral good, otherwise he would have respected Shepard's need to steal the Normandy but remained behind.
Good point.

They should make Udina more of a sympathetic character in ME3. Right now he's kind of a jerk in most ways.
