What would be your reactions if Kaidan had one cameo, an follow up email, and only a pwerpoint slide in 3. Hopefully Bioware wont do that but yah never know.

I did like some of the individual Asari in Mass Effect, but I think as a whole the Asari are far too sexualized.

It seems that they had intended for them to be the "space babes" and what resulted was a race of near-human female aliens who can mate with anyone...the only strippers are Asari, t

Wrong. Choras Den had human strippers.

I would like to say I would be done with Bioware completely but I know myself enough to know I'll look into whatever they create in the future anyway. Think they can get away with a lot more still to balance out the joy they gave me with their older games. Still, the balance has started to shift already after ME2 and DA +all DLCs and stuff.
I would be very disappointed at first, both by the game, kaidan's role in it but mostly in Bioware. Then I would become very angry and throw a fit in here most likely ;)

In the end, what it will result in is me getting even more careful when buying Bioware's games. I used to buy whatever they could come up with, blindly, without worry. Always pre-order and when available a CE. Not anymore, now I wait to see what the first reviews are like without getting spoiled. I think before buying and hence haven't bought any ME2 DLCs to date. Same goes for their future complete games if ME3 is a let down. And yes, dismissing characters I care about will be a big let down. This is Bioware after all, with their emotional engaging characters and storytelling. Not Obsidian who gets rid of their characters under piles of rock to make room for new ones :P

Hi Jho! And um, pretty much everything you said, except that I'm still at auto-buy for DA2 and ME3... if they disappoint I'll have to change for the future. *crosses fingers hopefully* I am cautiously optimistic that they'll be good, however.

Hey Jilly :) Oh I'm optimistic as ever, after all we'll be getting closure one way or the other and Kaidan will have a big role....that alone will be the selling point for me. DA2 is turning into Dragon Effect, which I actually like so optimistic there too...but keeping an eye on information they release first.

I mean DA2's lead is called Hawke....her LI might be called Sparrow.....who knows what kind of game it could become if that happens :P

Yeah.  Shepard is rather dense here.  There are so many clues of his behavior that she doesn't pick up on.
I'm hoping that the time apart to grow for each will make their relatioship stronger in three.
I just wish it wasn't so darned long before we get to see it.  Posted Image

this is also what i hope for.

i sort of wish that the dialog didn't get hijacked the way it did at times, but i don't actually take issue with horizon as a narrative device. i actually am really excited to see a game where the LI develops as a relationship through several games, including hard times. as much as it KILLS me that kaidan is not present to help shepard on the suicide run, it makes their relationship seems more involved and real.

of course, all of that assumes that ME3 pulls off a really good reunion. i am hoping for it with guarded optimism.=]

i agree
as far as wha they pull off in 3, from the little that I've read, the romantic storyline is important to them--especially that of the ME1 LI's.  What I would hope, however, is perhaps that they would get some more female input on what is desirable in a romance storyline rather than just male game geeks guessing.  Posted Image

Makes it sound like we're hitching all our hopes on Christina Norman. (That is her name, right?)
