Well night folks have to get up early. Also head on over to the Why do people destroy the collector base and watch a troll going nuts over there. I played a bigger part and left before it got truly ugly.

in the meantime, thought i'd share: the full list of all of harbinger's random sayings. i looked it up for reference, then was struck by the spoilers in his comments, especially about the different species. nifty stuff.
parting question: when kaidan says, "I'll never work for Cerberus" do you take that as indication of cameo-only status in ME3?

Nah. Just his reason for not joining you in ME2.
I remember the Liara thread getting into trouble for posting images that really weren't any more graphic than what you see in ME1. Woo even warned against linking to it. Since Shepard's paragon choice for the Collector Base and subsequent conversation with the Illusive Man can be interpreted as a big FU to Cerberus, I certainly hope the developers don't play up the Cerberus connection in ME3. I'm interested to see how that turns out. I kept the base and want to see if that would impact Kaidan's squadmate-age... Or if he'll join you but give you a cold shoulder the whole time.
If he cannot be because of that, it'd suck, but my Shep would really want to tell him he'd just have to get over it at that point, what's done is done. She did what she thought might of been something to give an edge, even though bad outcome/s/ would happen no matter what. Couldn't blame him for being even more pissed off.
God I hope that doesn't end up in a Wrex like Virmire standoff. My Shep would lose it.

I think you're okay. Kaidan will understand your trying to do good by saving the base...
... For people that romanced him in ME1 and romanced someone else in ME2, however. Dire consequences.
