I'll try to be a bit more around here as well. It's kinda tough for me to keep up with all the threads moving so fast. Besides, I've been frapsing a lot lately, mostly for Clan V to get some Garrus lines and stuff. Taking one for the team and romancing Jacob as well to get some certain lines from him *barfs* Jacob is so Yikes! Dislike actually is an understatement. My captured videos and such can be found in my blog, that I am trying to keep updated *points to sig*

Also, I just wrote in Clan V that I enjoy playing Renegade. I really do. And it concerns me. It actually was fun giving Kaidan the Renegade dialogue on Horizon. *hides*

I thought that the email was very Kaidan.

I thought the cameos were distinct enough, personality wise, between Ashley and Kaidan (and their individual emails), with both of them being thrown into the same situation and reacting with their own personal quirks.  But the cameos were short and I may be projecting or something.

Obviously, they should both be distinctly written and situationally different come ME3, but  I don't expect it, especially if they have a lot of screen time (which I am also uncertain that they will).

I can't see both as a Spectre, tbh. Kaidan is closer to Spectre status than Ashley, though, I agree with that. And they definately are totally different which is why it's a shame they were treated like they were the same on Horizon.

Yeah, that's what I'm afraid of aswell. Like mentioned above, they are totally different characters and should be treated as such....
Imo, every ME2 squadmate will only get a cameo and those who may be/are needed for the plot (Tali, Legion, etc.) will be replaced by a relative or otherwise close person - like Wrex.

Well I wouldn't mind swapping Tali for Kal Reegar, and I'd rather keep Grunt than get Wrex back. But I really only need Kaidan and one other to make up my team, lol. In ME1 it was Kaidan and Garrus but I liked Garrus better in ME1 than I do in ME2. As I said the other day, I would push every squadmate out the airlock with no problems if it was the only way I could get Kaidan back, lol

I agree.  I need no one else ... just give us back Kaidan...lol...

Well, in ME1 I always had Kaidan with me. The other team member were most of the time Wrex or Garrus...and sometimes Liara or Ash... I never took Tali with me...

He's totally worth spacing every other squadmate for. let's hope it doesn't come to that though. that decision would send all my paragons renegade. totally worth it.

i would save up my money to buy a ticket to canada in order to join the stampede on bioware HQ with my pitchfork!!!!

Well, according to my poll (signature), there are many out there who would put the LI in front of the mission. I didn't say which mission it was, though... ^^



I'm really hoping for a decision like that to be in ME3 btw. or that the LI gets seriously involved in some other way :-)

I am really not hoping for some decision like that. I mean, Ash/Kaidan fans already had that with Virmire in ME1. That would SUCK if they put us through this again. Seriously involved as in "oh my god come and rescue me?" hm...

PS: you know, Cliff Simon is one sexy man! At a convention once, years back, there even was that chick doing tequila shots from his body...... ^_^^_^ that man is so HAWT and so NICE! and so HAWT......err wut? *stops drooling*

actually  I meant more the idea of kidnapping Kaidan and go on to some unknown places...

Technically, we've had that happen twice. In ME1, we had Virmire. In ME2, Shep has no idea whether Kaidan is on the Collector Ship when it leaves Horizon. I always remember that panic in my pulse up until Kaidan's voice cuts off Delan.

Screw the galaxy, I choose Kaidan. I had to go through ME2 without him and I don't want to go through that again, lol. And we've already been put through Virmire so I would be seriously upset if we had to go through another tough decision involving out LI's. Let one of the other LI's get the hard decision this time, lol

@stephee - I'm sure there will be pitchforks to buy in Canada, lol.  Maybe we need a contact over there to start stocking up for us, lmao.  Don't forget the tar. feathers and sequins either.

@Sapphy - yeah I really thought that we were going to have to rescue Kaidan from the Collectors - thats the downside of trying not to look at spoilers, you just live in your little optimistic bubble until it pops and covers you in goop.

My hope for Kaidan and Ashley is that they truly become heroes in their own right, out from under Shepard's shadow.  I hope this doesn't end in their dying pointless deaths to prove how heroic they are.

I also think it would be nice if they cinematically saved Shepard for once, also without dying a pointless death by doing so and thus fulfilling their "important role" for ME3.

unfortunately not, but Jane was watching closely and very much enjoying the view! oh man and he smelled so good! and was so friendly and polite and did I mention he smelled good? And his accent and he is so big, I mean tall, and smelled so good..... :blush::blush::blush::blush:
