i've had an account on here for a while, I think. but i'm just de-lurking now that i've found this. (does it count as de-lurking if you weren't really lurking in the first place?)

Technically, we've had that happen twice. In ME1, we had Virmire. In ME2, Shep has no idea whether Kaidan is on the Collector Ship when it leaves Horizon. I always remember that panic in my pulse up until Kaidan's voice cuts off Delan.

Me too.  It was like sithspit!  (or soemthing like that)  Then relief.  Then heartbreak.

You know what would be nice?  To have Kaidan rescue Shepard for once.  She's done it a couple time now:  Eden Prime, Virmire, Horizon.  To have him come to help her out at a critical moment would be a great way to bring him back into the story--and would even things a little more between them.

  Fire Eye:
My hope for Kaidan and Ashley is that they truly become heroes in their own right, out from under Shepard's shadow.  I hope this doesn't end in their dying pointless deaths to prove how heroic they are.

I also think it would be nice if they cinematically saved Shepard for once, also without dying a pointless death by doing so and thus fulfilling their "important role" for ME3.

Hey cool!  We're thinking alike. 
I mean, I don't want Kaidan to always be Lois Lane.  He should get to be Superman sometimes, too.  Well, perhaps not Superman (although the boyscout things works) since that's Shepard.  But Batman or something like that.  No one else is quite as powerful or influential as Superman, but you can have another character who on equal footing but has different strengths.

Perhaps a better example would be like Dick Grayson (former Robin & Nightwing, recently Batman) and Barbara Gordon (previously Batgirl, now Oracle).  Dick is the one out fighting crime.  Barbara is the one behind the scenes supporting him (and other heros) with her computer/tech skills and her intel.  One doesn't have to be better than the other.  Their styles comliment each other.

This is exactly what I was just thinking. I would love this to happen in me3.
Its really going to be interesting to see his interaction with Shepard now hes no longer serving under her and there on equal footing, no more protocol. He was angry yeah but the more assertive side to Kaidan was nice to see

I don't like how things went down on Horizon.  But I can't help but see how ME2 Kaidan is hotter than ME1 Kaidan.

Who else do you think Kaidan would go for with if Shep was male? Alot of us play Male Shep and would love to see the crew pairing up:



I think Jack would be a good pairing. It would look odd at first, but they are both biotic and went through not so good childhood. Of all the people, Kaidan would be most sympathetic to her background.



Liara could work too, they seem to get along just fine, so could tali, but I got the impression that Kaidan doesn't have a thing for aliens.



He probably hate Miranda for being cerbrus, plus for what cerbrus did for Jack.

I couldn't really see him with jack, she's a bit too... chaotic? unstable?

I can't see him with Jack. Jack is as eldanesh said too unstable and chaotic. Kaidan is really big on playing by the books. Jack is opposite of that. Despite her desire for piracy, I don't think Jack is particularly adventurous.



Kaidan indicates himself that he likes adventurous women who like to travel and explore the galaxy. If I had to pair him up with anyone, that would be Dr. Chakwas. Other than that, no one really. No one compares to good 'ol F!Shepard.

In my pts he'd have to be careful, though, because I'm either with Liara or with Jack xD

Kelly could work, I guess. I don't think he'd ever go for Tali and well, Morinth comes with a catch ^.^

I can see Kaidan with Jack for the same reason I see a male Shepard with Jack. Patience is the key with her and Kaidan has that in spades. I'm sure his time in BAaT would draw him to know what has happened with Jack. It's an odd pairing, for sure, but that's what intrigues me about the idea.

Horizon was a perfect place if the wanted Kaidan to be romance for male shepard, they could have said that Shep's death caused ... feeling he didn't think he had. But as it its, I don't think they will ever make the character gay.

Hey Ruby,

*waves* I think I missed a lot myself. I think, I'm one of a minority in this thread since my MainShep romanced Kaidan (stayed faithful in ME2) and my other Sheps romanced Thane and Garrus. I like them and find them appealing.

I am too for that same reason, plus I kept the base and don't mind much working for Cerberus as long as I can get the job done.
Main Shep is single, though. No time for romance or anything that will have an impact on the mission. Maybe in 3 since it's the end, we'll see.

Gosh I hope ME3 has a slightly better face editing system. I wish I could turn my Sheps body to the side to get a better view of her face like that. Zooming in to the eyes when I choose an eye color because I can never decide if the color is a blue or something else.

Eyeliner! This is what this game needs, along with better make-up and hairstlyes.

I'm more along the lines of wanting my Shep to not have to wear mascara without eyes looking freaky or short "dude cut" hairstyles... Yeah, I totally went there.

i'd definately like better hairstyle options. none of my sheps are the makeup kind, but my fem!shep loves her hair.

I have a minor obsession with my hair myself... Beyond the fact I keep it pretty short compared to most women.
I remember one day I grabbed some of this hair gel stuff... Or at least I hope it was, and I walked around all day with Seth flippin' Green like hair just to annoy my mother.


I hope I'm not going to be sprayed with repellent now.

There is an eyeliner with almost every makeup opt. where mascara is used. I can't upload the picture right now to show you the difference. I was never a fan of heavy mascara in ME (WAAAY TOO MUCH, while creatin Marge I used the "less heavy with bright eyeshadow" option), but without it the character looks too unnatural - I look into the mirror and can see the difference. Or maybe it's because I have thick dark eyelashes.

Haha, maybe that's a topic for femShep forums XD
