I could see Kaidan with Jack too actually. I think, Jack has a thing for men for actually DO care and are not just into sex. So Kaidan would be a good match for her. She is definitely LONGING for stability and Kaidan would also be able to tell her to get over herself, when she's pissing and moaning too much. Kelly is too boring for Kaidan.

Now, back to playing some more, just finished Garrus' loyalty mission, LET THE ROMANCE BEGIN weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee *storms off to romance Garrus so she can finally dump the Jerkob* *giggles* Cuttlebone line here I come *gets fraps ready*

Keep trying, it will show up in a min or two before disappearing again.  ff.net has had issues the past few days with new chapters immediately after they've been posted.

Gosh I hope ME3 has a slightly better face editing system. I wish I could turn my Sheps body to the side to get a better view of her face like that. Zooming in to the eyes when I choose an eye color because I can never decide if the color is a blue or something else.

Totally! I could never tell what color the eyes were. And I always felt like, no matter what I do to the char, in the ME2 editor, it always looks like my femShep has a bit of a mustache... in game, it's not as noticable, but it looks like she has a five o'clock shadow.... maybe it's the shadow from her nose, idk...

@ Sage  I LOVE the way you wrote Horizon! I always hated the dialogue choices but you made it work really well. Looking forward to what Kyrie will think of the email....

@Pheonix    Are you working on Chapter 11? :happy:  I'm dying to read more! I've been checking like every day for the past week! I love the way you used the characters and totally changed the story. And as for Chavez.... OFF WITH HER HEAD! lol

And to comment on Kaidan pairing up w/ anyone else, I like Jack and I could maybe see him with Samara too.

At the final cutscene of the game when you see Shepard walking through the cargo hold, her mouth always looks screwed up. Sheploo looked fine iirc, but all my femsheps had this shadow around it. Like she was doing that duckbill lip girls do because they think it makes them look sexy.

re: custom shep oddity, i also find the final shot of ME1, the one where she's standing there with what looks like the lazarus station in the background (<-- is it?? ) she looks SO bizarre, always.

my hubby was saying he thought all custom sheps end up looking strange because they can't mess with the underlying model much since they have to animate it. he gave this long software engineer's answer that i'm sure would make more sense to someone other than me. i was just like...but why no new hair models? he had something to say about deadlines and resources.

the chapter is up and it was exceptional sage.  tell your family i thank them profusely for letting you write.

and i never thought about the effects hair models had on animations.  i doubt that reasoning will sate my desire for more hair styles.  my femshep has to look good for kaidan.

Yea I'm pretty much just lurking here...because I'm playing KOTOR at the moment and what is being discuss I have said my peace on.

I think Jack would be a good pairing. It would look odd at first, but they are both biotic and went through not so good childhood. Of all the people, Kaidan would be most sympathetic to her background.

Liara could work too, they seem to get along just fine, so could tali, but I got the impression that Kaidan doesn't have a thing for aliens.

He probably hate Miranda for being cerbrus, plus for what cerbrus did for Jack.

I don't know if he would "go for" Jack at first, but as I've said before, I can see something developing between them.  (He would probably be put off by her wanting to jump him right off, she would probably be confused with his not being interested in her behavior, he would probably want to help her because he wants to help people... in other words, it'd be like Paragon!Shepard/Jack without Shepard).

Liara, he says, is just "art appreciation".  (I don't know if it's any different for a male Shepard - I was trying to get the $#&$# L2 vs. L3 dialogue and alas, it didn't stick).

Probably not Miranda, even if it wasn't for Jack.  If it were to work out, it would take a lot of work.

Probably not Tali.

Possibly Samara, but I think Samara is beyond that.

Possibly Gabby, but we don't know enough about her.  Probably not Kelly - she's too into casual sex, and that isn't his thing.

I think he could have had something for Ashley, depending on how you want to read it, but between regs, Shepard, and the fact that one of them dies... yeah.

Am I forgetting anyone?


... And I could maybe see him developing confusing feelings for a male Shepard (not even other guys, necessarily - just Shepard), but then sometimes I think everyone in Mass Effect is Shepard-Sexual just because that seems to be the kind of person Shepard is. 


Also, yeah, a better selection (or simply more) hairstyles would be nice.

Everyone digs Shepard, ever since game 1. Everyone will still dig Shepard in game 3, too.
Now we'll see who Shepard can dig in 3 when it comes out.

But truthfully I don't think he would go for anyone on the ship, I think the reason he goes for FemShep is that she is unique. I don't think anyone else really matches up to that .. IMHO of course. (and we all know I don't think like a normal person does anyway!)

personally, i like to think that this is kaidan's doing. like, for femshep, he gives her this sense of security and confidence and sexiness that carries over in her to me2 and suddenly everyone's like
