I like to think he might possibly have realised it about the time that his precious Collector base became a smoking ruin. Sometimes it's a shame my Shepard is so dignified, I can't give her really snarky lines - certainly I was sitting there in the background cackling away to myself. "Ha, see what happens to people who are mean to Shep and Kai-Kai - their bases get all blowed up!"

I'm glad I'm not the only one who does that!  The cackling part I mean not the dignified bit Image IPB

My book self is full of Sic fi, ghost hunting, and horror novels. I am an amateur paranormal investigator, so that explains the ghost hunting books. Most of my book list is about the paranormal, sic-fi, history, Atlantis, Wicca, religion and politics.

My books shelf is full of Terry Pratchett. Not his books, I kidnapped him and had no where to put him. Who knew authors where so bulky!

*snort*  poor Terry!

Speaking of which does anyone els like Terry Brooks or is that just me?

I also like Kristen Britain's Green Rider series although the last one got a bit trippy but I like the love story part very angsty but waiting for the 4th book now, so hoping it ends happily I hate sad endings Image IPB

I don't know, Terry Pratchett's not that big, he ought to fit into a bookcase, but right, you're talking about a bookshelf, that might be problematic.:D

Different topic: about the Kaidan picture, at first I had this great and totally unrealistic theory that the frames somehow connect to people's own preferences, and show a picture of someone they want to see. This also nicely explained why Anderson had a picture of Kaidan on his desk: maybe it's only my Shepard who sees him there! Until I realised that everyone, including people who did not romance Kaidan (etc), also see Kaidan on Anderson's desk.
Then I gave up and just pretended Shepard put it there herself when I wasn't looking. Though it's a nice thought that maybe Chakwas (or Joker even?) put it there for her.

I'm afraid I've not had the opportunity to part-take in Terry Brooks love - though I will have a lookie for his work in the next bookshop I look around in.

Paranormal can be interesting but more an insight into the human psyche. As a big addict of needing a logical explaination for everything, I lack the leap of faith part required. Image IPB This is probably the wrong time to say Dracula is one of my favourite books. My favourite part being the beginning when Jonathan is slowly figuring out what the count is really doing in that castle.
Awesome last chapter of Blastette by the way, Doug. Thumbs up. One question though... is the Illusive Jelly actually smoking and drinking or is he just sitting around holding them? And let's see a picture of the blonde Hanar hottie Miranje!Image IPB

Hmm...maybe I should buy stock in Bioware.  I realize all 5 of the last books I have read are by authors who write for them.  I read both DA books by Gaider, both ME books by Karpyshyn and am almost finished with the first of three books by Karpyshyn dealing with Darth Bane in the Star Wars universe.  :)

And I'm back from 45 minutes of incredible dizziness as I try with limited success to get more consistent quality on my two-foot spins.

I more of a logical explaination for everything type myself, so I come in their with a open mine. I am more for explaining everything, but their are somethings you can't explain. :D That is, were I come in, so you can find that explaination.

I first learned about Wicca when I was pretty young, like maybe 10 or so; at the time, I wasn't really mature enough to understand it.  Then stuff happened... long story that I won't derail this thread with but wouldn't mind sharing if you really want to know... and as a freshman in high school I ended up taking another look at it from a completely different perspective and the rest is history.

An open mind is important as well, yes. :) The ability to understand something without necessarily agreeing with it is at least as important as critical thinking. So you try to figure out what stuff like ball lightning is then, I see. Image IPB

I'd like too know about your story on Wicca.   Yeah, I never did any spells, until I knew what I was doing, and I talked to people who were Wiccan . I  didn't want any unknown forces messing with me.

I also like the Green Rider series; haven't read the 3rd one yet though.  I got a bit distracted by finding two Katherine Kerr books I hadn't read and then DA:O and ME (not to mention this thread!!)  have kept me rather occupied since November!  Image IPB

Still think we should have gotten Harry Potter like pictures, or just holograms with a moving image of Kaidan. All that tech and we still get a simple framed picture ;)

So, who's writing the Cerberus Network News every day? Because can't the writer come up with a few Kaidan mails or something? *shakes fist*
