Poor Kaidan. He happened to fall in love with the one woman in the galaxy whom all Asari want.

After you start a romance, take your LI and do the consort mission. Ask her what she does/who she is and after she gives her "I give comfort to other..." line, Kaidan will have this smile on his face(a gtfobiotch smile) and say "Yeah, well, you wanted to see the Commander"
Jealousssss.

Kaidan's a balancing element to your team no matter what class you play as, so I don't understand the "worthless" claim either. He has enough biotics and tech to incapacitate, if not kill, every enemy you face. Shep can handle cleanup well enough alone. Insanity seems fun with this setup as a vanguard and Wrex as your third party member.
What a dynamo.
Also, it's not like I haven't been watching this every day for the past month or so, but... it's time to share!

Okay! And provided that ff.net does not do it's weird "page does not exist" thing on y'all, Chapters 33 and 34 are up and that's a wrap for the mess that is Horizon.
Horizon aftermath later, but for now I breathe a sigh of...something. A sigh, anyhow.
g'night!

Gosh, I wish ME3 would be released before DA2....heh...then again I don't want it to be a rush job, but I do want some Kaidan/Shepard closure.

... That reminds me of something I've been wondering... What's everybody gonna do once ME3 is released and the story is "over"?

Replay it over and over again if it has the ending I am hoping forWhile it's sad that there's no new ME to look forward to, I'll just be relieved it all ended okay...or that's what I want anyway. Not knowing what's going to happen, what they'll do to Kaidan or Shepard, is horrible. For all we know one of them could die to save the galaxy....that would be one crap ending to the trilogy for me. It could go either way and I just want to know instead of guessing what direction Bioware will take.
Reapers? Don't even care about them....sure I want to see a conclusion to the whole mess...but all I really want is a personal closure for my Shepard and Kaidan. Lots of want, want, want from me...I know, but still
I can definately relate to that ......FireEye wrote...
My favorite characters have a nasty habit of dying. <_<

Hello Jho. Long time no see....well I haven't been here often lately, so that's probably the reason. How are you?
@Fire...What will I do after ME3? I have no idea. That would depend on the possible endings. If I love a game or book, I tend to imagine what happens after the end and thus continue the story myself. So that's probably what I'll do after ME3, too. I'll also replay it a lot, I guess, if it's good enough ^^

Lucky you. I have to work for about a month before my 2 weeks off. And even then, I'll "work" (attending GamesCom) but it'll be really fun.Jhosephine wrote...
Doing fine here, last week of work before I have 3 weeks off ...so yay. How've you been?
And yes the possible endings will have a massive effect (no pun intended..or maybe just a little) on the trilogy's replay value for me. Just look at DA, dunno how many playthroughs I did...but I start and stop and think I only completed it from start to finish just twice. One with Alistair, one with Zevran. Just can't stomach the ending.
ME1 I've replayed so often I lost track lol...ME2, not so much. But I have a feeling ME2 will be dusted of more often if ME3 makes me squee with delight. It's never as hard to sit through the second chapter of a movie either if the third chapter is greatDealing with Kaidan on Horizon will still be horrible but if you have ME3 waiting for you and knowing it'll all be alright, sure will help.

Also, it's probably been discussed before, but where do you see Kaidan in ME3? I mean, I don't think they'll make him a Spectre, so he'll still be Alliance, but do you think he'll continue to work for Anderson or will he be on other assignments? Maybe promoted again? What are your thoughts on that?
