That's why I am holding out hopefully for great Kaidan reunion. Bioware certainly took me on a ride... I had kept away from any trailers or spoilers... So Kaidan running and telling me to abandon ship was like oh, hi, ok be right there. Then ship exploding....WTF NOOO!!!! Then waking up... where's Kaidan... running around EVERYWHERE... tell me where Kaidan is....Anderson, useless... shakes fist... I will find him... then...Horizon.... YAY!!!! I found you...err... why are you yelling... sob... no... Kaidan come back. Then neutral email to maintain slight hope. Maybe he'll be waiting for me on the Citadel after Omega 4... Nope...damm*t.

I have to give credit though I was hating for a bit...they know how to write a story.

Unfortunately they never seem to be good at happy wrap ups... KOTOR, II, DA... Please give us something for all the tears spilt!!

Hmm... the intro cinematic after Shepard has been recovered... doesn't look like something very alive - actually I think they did a rather good job in depicting a nanites based procedure to actually revive her. I'll just go with the flow and with how things have been presented (not because I am naive but because I appreciate their resurrection scene).

@Joi: I love the video!! Nicely done and a great song you got there.
Now back to ME2 for a moment - I did love the reappearance of Fist and others, but yes, they might have had a bigger impact on me if they had reduced the number of general characters and added more depth to the existing ones.
Seriously though... it cracked me up seeing Fist. 'No, seriously - no hard feelings' *sighs*

Yes.  I looked everywhere on Horizon for any sign of him of his residence.  I was spoiler-free except that I knew Shepard and he would have a fight.  I didn't know anything else.  And that Lilith grrr...I was really afraid that little tart had something going with him.  I was glad when she went down.

Kaidan's email is Kaidan. Horizon and his letter are written in such a way that you can justify moving on or not in a sense. Sucks since Shep was awake for what, a couple weeks?

Right.  He mourns her for 2 years.
She sleeps with someone else after a couple weeks.  hmmm...I can't really buy that.

Hey just a side note that I think is funny. On the movie Mr. & Mrs. Smith with Angelina Jolie...the 'father' that is her boss...is the voice of Anderson.



Do you ever think Kaidan would get a creepy call from Anderson telling him. 'This is unacceptable! You need to kill that man!'

@Sage - yeah it bugged me that Shep (apart from anyone else who just seemed to accept it as an everyday occurence) never really asked any questions about how they did it and what they did. You would think she would want to know at some point. My first thought was that she was a clone but I really hoped they didn't go that route - too cliched. Cerberus may have blown the base but I don't believe for a minute that they would have blown or lost all the notes and files. I still think the lazarus project was meant for something or someone else (TIM perhaps) and that Shepard was the guinea pig, lol
and just to continue with my conspiracy theories - Cerberus could grow their own Shepard cause they now have all her dna & stuff, and reek havoc in the galaxy with Shep getting the blame, especially if she told TIM where to go.  He would have some kind of contingency plan in place in case that happened.

also if you combine lazarus with REAPER tech>? you could grow frickin' ANYTHING.

i do not think shep is a clone. that...i dunno. i've heard theories that he/she is and all his/her real brain got downloaded into legion and stuff like that. i think it IS shep, it IS rezzed, just...i wanna know more.

i have ME redemption - but haven't read it yet b/c i'm writing horizons.

funny story: i happened to be in a local bookstore and thought, huh, maybe they have ME:redemption, the liara comic. so i asked the clerk - took her a while to find it in her software, she kept coming up with the game guide - and then it was supposed to be where i'd been looking in the comics. so she came and complained about how the comicbook reader guys always leave everything such a mess. we found it on totally the wrong shelf.

then she looks me over from head to toe, narrows her eyes and says, "you don't look like the...type of person who buys stuff like this...this star wars game stuff and...stuff."

i was like...yeah. i know. i really know.

Had to use them at my school play, pretty fun, we all got one. I made one that had a picture of my current warden and the back says watch in terror as I rip you apart,

That's what is given to us as text.  I was expecting the clone-Shep bit, but... "You were dead.  Now you're not."  No chance for philisophical anything, no "Wow, what an amazing leap of science!" just... nothing.

Which I wouldn't have minded if not for the "nothing."

In my head, she got caught in the Normandy's totally fritzing out Mass Effect Generator's field, which cushioned in impact of everything involved.  If she hit the planet at all.

... if Cerberus didn't actually kidnap her for their super soldier program and condition her into thinking she was dead for two years, et al after realizing that the Reapers are in fact a threat.

... I, uh... have to make it make sense somehow.

I'm another one that ran around the galaxy like a maniac looking for Kaidan after I finished with the Omega 4 relay. It cheesed me off that anderson still had the same tired conversation that I'd already heard, lol. My kids were in hysterics cause I was sitting here yelling at him to tell me where Kaidan was, lmao

LoL... sounds familiar. I came up with new 'nicknames' for Anderson and horrible things I could do to him.
He was my first stop once we got control of the Normandy, he was my first stop after Horizon, my first stop after Horizon, my first stop after sending all the info on Cerberus to the Alliance, my last stop before Legion and O4-Relay and my first stop after destryoying the Collector's base and there were only an incredibly small difference in dialog options... I was so pissed, lol.

In ME 3 they better tell me right away where he is or I'll knock out Anderson and have someone hack his workstation...

Yeah I usually head to the Citadel first up in the game to ask about Kaidan, head there after Horizon to ask about Kaidan and check every single damn person I can find, and in the darkstar lounge (in case he's having drinks with the docotr, lol) to see if any of them are Kaidan.  Anderson tells me that I can come and talk anytime and his doors always open but he doesn't have anything new to say, lol

I also kept the email in the folder and read it often and interp it different depending on the mood.  Never thought of it as an okay to jump into bed after 3 weeks though... just me maybe...
