I think Miranda talked too much about being perfect and Kaidan said he liked beautiful women who aren't stuck up about it. I think Miranda would irritate him lol. She died in one of my playthroughs so Kaidan will never have to meet her

As for the mentioned options... I don't actually consider either one an option. I can't see Kaidan and Ash together romantically involved. I can see them together as friends, good friends but I think that they are so different and have a lot of very differen opinions and outlooks on life that it wouldn't work long or well.

I can see him with Liara even less - again, they are incredibly different. She is somewhat naive, not very good with people (I know that can be learned) and I always had the slight feeling that she is a bit possessive when it comes to anything piquing her interest.
Even though I always tried to be nice to her - she always suddenly jumps me with that 'crush' thing and it bothers me personally... so maybe that's why I can't see them together.

I will be playing with both Miranda and Kaidan on my team a lot, if at all possible in ME3, so it would not be cool if there were any mutual attraction going on with them...



But I could see a Miranda who is disillusioned with Cerberus and a Kaidan who is disappointed by the Alliance being attracted to each other, in a crazy alternate universe where Shepard is a dude or romanced someone else.



I like Liara and Kaidan too, because she was kind of innocent in the first game and deserved someone good hearted, like Kaidan. But my Shepard saw him first!

No, but Ashley might make the move if she were interested.  But I could see them both being attracted to one another but never getting the chance to feel it out (or even know that the attraction was mutual) before Virmire.

Very true.  I could see Ash being brash that way.  She doesn't mince too many words.  Unlike Kaidan--mister cautious.

If I had to ship Kaidan with someone other than femShep, it'd probably be Liara. They'd be the quiet couple that whispers back and forth to each other in the back of the room while everyone just rolls their eyes.

Kaidan with another character? I guess it could happen if gameplay allowed it. I could see Ash being possible until she gets Virmired. Liara is also possible since they have some similarities in the first game. Pretty quiet, keeps to themselves. Liara may not be running around with blazing guns, but I do classify her as being a type of adventurous.





Of course Shepard wins if you play your game with a romance. Even with all the Male LIs reminiscing about chicks in their past everytime you speak to one, Shepard wins. XD

I couldn't decide what armor to keep Kaidan in for the final battle in ME1 (for screenshots), but I knew that I wanted my Shepard wearing the N7 armor with the red stripe on her arm. Ended up having Garrus in red because he was my renegade buddy and Kaidan in white (also a color reflected on the N7 uniform) since I was amusing myself with the "white knight" symbolism. It was such a nice contrast to Garrus, too. Kaidan was fighting to save the council while Garrus was saying not to bother sacrificing humans. I always feel like a dick bringing Garrus with me to Horizon because oh look, Shepard had time to recruit Garrus and have him in her squad, but noooo time to look for Kaidan. (Never mind that she looked all over Citadel, questioned everyone, and asked Anderson where Kaidan was! =p)
