Well Dr Michel has the hots for Garrus, so he can go that way, lol. It would have been nice if Shep could have mentioned her email to him though, even a comment like you shold catch up with Dr Michel when we get to the Citadel or something.

Thanks!  I love Ash too, and she's fun to draw.  LOL, this morning when the alarm went off I distinctly remember that I was in the middle of defending Ashley Williams to someone in a dream.  I think this is a sign that I need to start drawing Kaidan...

Yes, and the "DAO PC" option appears when I go to the avatar page, but no pictures are ever there. My crap internet probably.

one thought: ythe first 10 chars you make upload to the forums automatically, blocking any more from being imported (even if you make more in dao).  i had to log into BW forums, go into personal settings, then look for your dao info. took me a while to find the link/button, but you get into a list of all your dao toons. if you delete those profiles from the BW forums, then you don't loose any data on your remote machine, but you do have room on ht eBW account. basically, the next toons you make in dAO will then import into the forums.

maybe that was something you knew, but that was news to me when i realized it

So I was curious and looked this up and wanted to get confirmation:

So Lt. Commander is like one grade/rank lower than Staff Commander?

How did Kaidan rise 2 grades in such a short time? Or is it not really all that short a time to do so?

It's not really all that short a time, though one rank would be more common in that time. But, we already knew he was very good at his job, so it stands to reason he'd move up quickly.

I'm assuming he got one promotion for his part in saving the Citadel from sovereign, which shepard probably would have got too if she hadn't of died. We know nothing about what he's been doing for Anderson in the two years that have passed so once again I assume he did something noteworthy to get another promotion.
Although didn't Ash only go up one rank or is that just my imagination.  Ash never made it in any of my playthroughs so I don't know.

Ashley's as high as an NCO can get, probably.  They don't generally make officers out of NCO's.

Ashley's as high as an NCO can get, probably.  They don't generally make officers out of NCO's.

Most NCO's would be rather insulted if you wanted to try to make them officers.  The whole "don't call me sir, I work for a living" crack is generally what you get if you talk to an NCO like s/he is an officer.  And I can definitely hear that line coming out of Ashley if someone tried to mustang her.

Yeah. You gotta love how blunt Ashley is. Ash is Ash. And there's nothing going on behind your back that she wouldn't say directly to your face. I really respect that about her.



And thanks for help understanding the rank stuff. As my parents said, they knew I was never destined for the service after the time I took my satin sheets on a camping trip with me. LOL

Re: Kaidan as a Medic

I asked a while back, if people were to upgrade Kaidan, whether he'd go Bastion or Medic.  I personally figured he'd go Bastion, but that's just me.  He still has medical skills, though.

'Though, to be fair, he did have the cutscene where he confirmed that Jenkins was true and dead.  ... come to think of it... that's not supposed to be our character introduction cutscene, is it? 

Re: Alliance marines vs. US Marines

There appear to be somewhat major differences.  Whether they are intentional or not, I can't say, but I got the impression that there've been enough changes with all of Earth forces banding together into the Alliance that you can't always make direct comparisons anymore.

Re: What Kaidan is to my Shepard.

A lieutenant.  A friend.  A connection to the humanity she didn't know she still had.  Someone to fight for.  And she likes him, which helps.
