Haha, this thread made me laugh! It's only the OP's post right now, so I'm sure it'll die a quick death if no one responds. Is Jacob or Kaidan better for femshep? OP believes femshep and Jacob are meant to be, because otherwise BW wouldn't have made femshep sound like that when talking to him.

I kind of had this idea... doesn't really fit with the fact that the picture is there from the start, but hey, anything's possible in the imagination, right?  So this is what I came up with:

With a heavy heart, Commander Shepard picked her lonely way through the rubble of the Normandy's crash site.  Despite the incredibly thorough job the Collectors had done on the ship, a surprising amount of the wreckage was actually recognizable.  There was the cockpit, where she had been standing when she was blown into space.  There were the pits where the crew used to work at their terminals.  There was the table they had eaten their meals at, trapped under a pile of debris, and the cramped little sleeper pods everyone loved to hate.  Even her own personal quarters were relatively intact, though her mother would have had a few sharp words for her had she seen the state of them.  As she laid a hand on the bed where she and Kaidan had spent their first night together, a glint of light reflecting off broken glass caught her eye.  Half-covered by dirt and debris was the picture of Kaidan she used to keep on her nightstand.  The glass was shattered beyond repair, but the picture itself was miraculously intact.  Shepard wasn't normally a particularly religious woman, but right then she thanked whatever gods may be for leaving her this one thing, this infinitely precious reminder of the life she'd once had, the life she still hoped to have again someday.

While part of me likes the idea of Dr. Chakwas taking it upon herself to leave the picture.  I *love* your idea even more.  It is perfect.  Makes me think that even though fate pulled them apart maybe it is also working to push them back together.

I was thinking about something and I’m curious what you think about it. After the Normandy was destroyed Liara desperately started to look for Shepard. The moment when she tried to explain her actions and said that she couldn’t let you go was heartbreaking for me. She surely had strong feelings about Shepard, but why did she do it all on her own? I imagine that after the accident she tried to persuade the rest of the crew to help her find some answers. She of all crew aboard Normandy knew for sure how Shepard and Kaidan felt about each other. I think she had to talk to Kaidan about her plans. Why didn’t he help her? Maybe he was so depressed about what happened and thought what Liara was about to do was pointless. I don’t know…

If she could be so passionate about finding Shepard, why wouldn’t Kadain be too? What do you think? I don’t know if it was already discussed, so if it was don’t mind me.

I don't think Kaidan had the connections that Liara did, she only knew about Shepard because of the Shadow Broker. Kaidan's all Alliance, he doesn't deal with the Shadow Broker.
But I think had Kaidan known about the SB and Shep's body, he would've done everything he could to find her.

Joker did say they were all split up...maybe she didn't have the chance to talk to him before he was reassigned...might not have found out where they sent him either...she wasn't Alliance. By the time she had some concrete info on Shep she might have been so involved she no longer thought about contacting him. I figure guilt kept her from saying anything after she gave Ceberus the body.

I sort of get what ... he? means when he says the Male/Female shep walk and move the same - I can see how its more generic than if they walked slightly differently. And I do think more effort should be put into making the femShep have more of a different experience than maleshep....

That said, huge boobs and a hooker's walk aren't what I had it mind

Indeed.

Strong woman sure. Bikini armor, no thanks. Maleshep animations copy and pasted over a femshep, no thanks. Being strong doesn't have to mean behaving like a guy, which femshep does at a few points due to the default male animations.

:lol:Yeah, I think that would be a different kind of game. But since I didn't play as a Maleshep I can't really compare the two...for me Femshep was fine...I didn't see anything odd about her...except when talking to Jacob which I avoided after that first greeting.
