More Kaidan for Night!

Morning Nighty!! Lovely to see you too! Hope things are going alright for you today and that people are behaving and refraining from hurting each other or themselves.
@military people or those who have knowledge:
In case of a soldier requesting special items or additional equipment.... whom does one send a request to? I need some commonly used terms. So whom does one file a request to? Or who decides if the request is granted and from where is it picked up or is it delivered?
Hope that made sense - and sorry for repetitions... still working on first cup of coffee...

@Bat: That actually made me laugh, and that though I haven't had any coffee yet. Not that I have an opinion on a Hawke VA but I am a Gordon Ramsey fan. While people consider him an a**... well maybe he is one but he seems to be honest for once and speaks his mind and opinion. Seems people are so shocked when the listen to him because nowadays everyone is used to get things wrapped in cotton wool.
He also seems to be very passionate about the things he does.
Anyway, if he was to ever appear as a VA I'd buy the game instantly, lol. Great, now I'm gonna watch an episode of KN. Stupid indoctrination...
Don't worry Kai... the big evil Gordon is not going to get more of my time than you. *shakes fist at muse* You hear that?![]()
My biggest issue is that he says he hates vegetarians, good for him, but if I say I hate meat eaters do you know how flack I would get??He said if his kids said they were becoming veggie he would disown them, okay a joke, sure but one he didn't need to make and why deride potential customers? Also he's never heard the phrase ''You catch more flies with honey than you do with vinegar'', lol
Anyway, that is why some people *might* consider him an a**...![]()
Hmmmm, anyone got a Kaidan for a sad vegetarian

Good Morning all
Wow a lot went on here last night.
@Kaidan as a vegetarian? No way. Wouldn't be able to keep up with the caloric demands, medically speaking.
Sorry for starting up the whole Horizon debate again right before going to bed. I think I have this love/hate thing with the scene. Currently I've been reading sage's FF and her Kaidan's being so....stubborn he's making me angry. And down.
I always hate these parts in stories--where the lovers are emotionally separated like this. Especially when the man is doing it for "the right reasons" in his own mind.
Edward leaves Bella--I still get mad over that one and don't like reading New Moon
Angel leaves Buffy--I never forgave him for it. I like her better with Spike.
Jondalar won't make a committment to Aayla (Clan of the Cave Bear series--Mammoth Hunters)
Even in Austen: Wentworth trying to go on with his life and rubbing Anne's nose in it (Persuasion--at least he's more coherent in his writing than Kaidan). And Edmund wanting Fanny, having molded her personality to be a perfect compliment to his, but looking elsewhere.
And we have sooooo long before we get a resolution to this and no guarantee that its going to be a happy one.

From one vegetarian to another:

Not quite sure what I have done to warrant thisKioux wrote...
@J4N3_M3:
Thanks for the help but I can't quite find what I am looking for. I am basically just missing the name of the person or 'office' that is responsible for granting or denying special requests. And as I am planning to build that in a two sentence structure into my ff, I'm just hoping someone can give me a general term, one that works for the real Army as well as the fictional Alliance.
@Jenova:
Everyone is entitled to an opinion and so you dislike him and I do like him.
I don't mind his language really, I prefer people who are straight forward and cuss like there's no tomorrow to those that try to act very nice and still insult you deeply. I've met both sorts and definitely get along better with the first sort. And lets face it, Gordon Ramsey is Gordon Ramsey because of the f word - it's just who and how he is. Besides, I do appreciate the possibility to choose between having a pleasant and uplifting conversation and being able to cuss at something that annoys me. Additionally, nobody is really forced to watch any shows with Gordon Ramsey in it – there's always the option to switch channels or turn off the TV.
Concerning his opinion on vegetarians... I think he has as much a right to have an opinion on that topic as some of the rather militaristic vegetarians I had the 'pleasure' to meet.
I also have an opinion but I will refrain from voicing it because I don't want to get into a fight. All in all I will just stay with: people have different opinions and I respect that... or at least accept that.
Thus said, I will just take my seat and return to sitting in the shady corner.

Or that's what they're supposed to do, rather than sell you black market stuff on your own ship. ^_~
@Jenova: Eccleston! He would be a great Hawke. He's just generally great.
And there was a bunch of other stuff I saw trying to catch up, but I can't remember anything in particular I had to say about it. Oops.

*Hug* I understood what you meant, and I know that in my experience as a vegetarian, I've met far, far more meat eaters who become immediately defensive and combative about my own personal choices than vegetarians or vegans who would judge others. It's a myth like "militant man hating feminists"...everyone talks about them, but they're rarely seen in real life. I don't want to continue going off topic, but I just wanted you to know that you're not alone.
But anyway, let's get back to what's really important:
