Thanks for the help but I can't quite find what I am looking for. I am basically just missing the name of the person or 'office' that is responsible for granting or denying special requests. And as I am planning to build that in a two sentence structure into my ff, I'm just hoping someone can give me a general term, one that works for the real Army as well as the fictional Alliance.
@Jenova:
Everyone is entitled to an opinion and so you dislike him and I do like him.
I don't mind his language really, I prefer people who are straight forward and cuss like there's no tomorrow to those that try to act very nice and still insult you deeply. I've met both sorts and definitely get along better with the first sort. And lets face it, Gordon Ramsey is Gordon Ramsey because of the f word - it's just who and how he is. Besides, I do appreciate the possibility to choose between having a pleasant and uplifting conversation and being able to cuss at something that annoys me. Additionally, nobody is really forced to watch any shows with Gordon Ramsey in it – there's always the option to switch channels or turn off the TV.
Concerning his opinion on vegetarians... I think he has as much a right to have an opinion on that topic as some of the rather militaristic vegetarians I had the 'pleasure' to meet.
I also have an opinion but I will refrain from voicing it because I don't want to get into a fight. All in all I will just stay with: people have different opinions and I respect that... or at least accept that.
Thus said, I will just take my seat and return to sitting in the shady corner.
You're looking for a requisition officer. Or supply sergeant. In the Alliance, judging from their naming patterns, go with the first.
