me too. i will buy it, play it through and just enjoy the surprise - which, hopefully, will be good.
then i will likely import kyrie again and play it over and over....
(then again, i have fun with surprises. i saved everyone but thane and the crew my first me2 run - saved everyone the second time. i found the suicide mission to be ridiculously easy to master. my hubby was not happy as he lost almost everyone.)

Not to get off topic, but I never liked Anora ruling. I tend to feel a kinship with elves and she doesn't do well for them.Batteries wrote...

I think it may have Dragon Age style endings - there really won't be an overall perfect ending, but the best ending/s/ would be in the eye of the beholder. Some people think Alistair being king and ruling with Anora is best, yet I think him staying a Warden and Anora ruling alone is best. That might keep most people happy.

I stayed off the forums when Awakenings first came out to avoid spoilers and I'll most likely wind up doing that with ME3 as well.

That was my point pretty much. Everyone has their own visions of what is best and even if it isn't perfect... well it's what you get.

I only read intro stuff (to figure out what class, etc) I wanted to play in ME1. So everything was a surprise.sagequeen wrote...

For ME2, I knew that Kaidan only had a cameo and that there was a fight. But I had to know if there was still hope for the relationship or not--if that ended all possibility of the relationship. So I asked on IGN. Someone gave me that article that states that cheating or not will play into ME3 and that the ME1 LI couldn't be in the squad so he couldn't die in ME2. So that's what I needed to know and avoided all flirty dialogue completely with all characters. Kimbri wanted no chance of messing things up further with Kaidan.
I ended up killing Zaeed, Legion and the crew in the final. Oops, but not too bad.

Yup. I like that multiple endings thing about that game. My endings were pretty good. And in two games I did well for my elves. But the dwarves always did poorly.Batteries wrote...

Yes Im one of them atleast when it comes to mass effect lol, Ive fallen in love with some of the me2 characters so I really want to see good things for them. Well I'm sure (hoping) with mutliple endings I'll find one to make me atleast a lil bit happy lolTS2Aggie wrote...

I probably won't play as a guy for that reason. I couldn't kill Kaidan.
really you havent romanced ash or liara? I'm wondering if I should import one of my male shepards without a love interest. can't decided if (well if these things actually happen) id prefer to possibly have kaidan on my team again in me3 or a possible confrontation between my me1 LI and me2 LI. Or if hes not on my team his interaction with a male shep might be interesting....hmm

Aww, that sucks. It's almost as bad as when I got spoiled for the ending of The Sixth Sense before I got to watch it.

I prefer the BW games because of their romance options. I wouldn't play a non-romanced character personally. Then I might as well play a final fantasy game (which I have the new one in my cabinet that has not been touched because of playing and re-playing ME LOL). But that's me.Lovestories wrote...

Kimbri was and will always be faithful to Kaidan. She has faith that they can work through this. Kara's gonna be hurt and pissed by Horizon and look to be comforted elsewhere although Kaidan's still the one that she really wants. I wanted to see what happens ME3 with an unfaithful Shep--how that unfolds with Kaidan. Its gonna kill me to see his picture turned down, though.

On the previous page I proposed that we perhaps have a spoiler-free discussion perhaps in KAAS so that trolls won't run in and flame spoilers at us. That way we could still be together and discuss, but without chance of spoilers.Nightodie wrote...

Dwarves end up in the crapper either way.
Never played a dwarf myself so I don't know what difference you could make by being one.

Hello!!!
Welcome to Kaidan land!!!
*Shepard walks into a room with Kaidan... who is startled*
Kaidan: Shepard... this isn't what it looks like.
Shepard: What isn't what it looks like?
Kaidan: Um... nothing.
Shepard: Ok... but don't make me punch you in the gut.
Kaidan: Alright.
*Shepard leaves the room none the wiser... and Liara rolls out from under the bed*
Liara: You never did tell her who the "Doctor" on the Citadel was did you?
Kaidan: Nope.

Yup, I've romanced Liara. Ash's death on Virmire doesn't change that. In all honesty, my favorite female LI is Jack so I kind of prefer saving my maleShep for her.Lovestories wrote...

depends on how they handle romance.
I'll have to take some time off of work I think to play it--it would be too distracting thinking that its at home waiting for me...
Gosh I hope killing off the council won't effect Kimbri's romance story

Obviously in this scenario, Shepard is a dude, because that is patently impossible in a world with FemShep.
