Maybe he would get some hate if he had any attention. Truth is, nobody cares for art with Kaidan, unless it's from someone popular. Even Aimo don't get much hate on him, because "whatever she's posting it's golden". No pun intended.
Hate comments on him is like one line of brainless "so I dumped him and never looked back", so don't worry about it. Post to your heart's content. I'd be always happy to see it.

Heh I actually woke up this morning with ME3 on my mind. Funny how that works, sadly it wasn't caused by some steamy Kaidan dream So I just wondered how much longer it would be till we get some closure and then I got annoyed with myself for even thinking about it since it'll take so darn long still.
Nowadays I'm mentally pushing ME to the background so the waiting goes a bit faster, well that's what I keep telling myself anyway
It's odd but because of ME2, I have little interest in replaying ME all together. Mainly because ME2's Horizon is such a *censored beep*. I'm sure I'll pick it up again, maybe after reading the Liara DLC reviews. Because I'm simply going to hope, again, that at least Shepard will ask a Kaidan related question in it. Or something....anything....hmm...prolly not....figures...oh well.

The more Kaidan fanart, the better. 

(Could always privately host?  Or... well, I suspect asking nicely for no hate wouldn't work 100%, but any hate that slipped through would be on their heads and not yours?)

At least the anonymous nature of the site prevents ye olde "My friend wrote that part and I didn't check" excuse?  ... I don't know - I seem to run into plagiarists every couple of fandoms.  Fortunately, most of fandom hates them, so there's that. 


Re: Kaidan and Shepard's first meeting.

... In our case it was... uncomfortable. 

Also have a Generic!Shepard plotbunny for a first meeting, but I'm not sure if it's worth finishing.  <_<

Awww, that's sad.   All I can suggest is that you try to ignore the idiots and pay attention only to the constructive criticism. You're still heads and shoulders above other people, though, in that you actually *can* draw; I can't even draw a straight line without me hating it.

On topic, though, who here would totally buy a Bioware-created Kaidan shirt?

Kaidan gets alot of hate on DeviantArt?  I've never noticed that....then again, I really only view Aimo's stuff, there's even KOTOR stuff on there. Om nom nom. I so wish I could draw. Sucks.

And there needs to be a Kaidan shirt, akin to the "I dragon Alistair" shirt.

I've not understood the Kaidan hate anywhere really, but I've found at both DA and FF that the "I hate Kaidan" remarks tend to fuel my muse to find a new way to "defend" Kaidan. (She's done that with at least two chapters so far in my story.)

I love your work Teen on DA, so I really hope you one day feel comfortable enough to share a Kaidan picture with us.

I don't have anything on DA, but I've never gotten a "Kaidan sucks" review on FF.  And let's face, I haven't written anything that doesn't have a Shenko reference.  I have a one track mind.

What do you think, how was femshep's and Kaidan's first meeting. I think Kaidan was falling for her very early, would you think that Shepard felt the same way? I'm just curious, because I think everyone has his own imagination about it:)

hmmmm...whether or not Shep would admit to herself early on if she had feelings for Kaidan would probable depend on her background. I could imagine earthborn Shepard saying, "Yup I want that." Mindoir Shepard thinking she likes him but there's a target on everyone she gets close to. Spacer Shepard might be a rule stickler at first. "Oh what would mother dearest think if I broke regulations. Ignore button!"

And I'm w/Chem, I haven't gotten any Kaidan-hate on ff.net, probably because I bypassed the whole "I don't believe in resurrection" plot point, cuz I'm lazy.  I love the fact that other people dwell on this one though, as, well, believing in resurrection is loony, and it's nice to see that addressed, unlike in game.   I have gotten a couple 'wth is wrong with Ella' comments, but she's a lunatic vanguard, so that's ok.

And I have seen some comments on dArt, but usually only if there's something negative about Kaidan in the original artwork or the artists comments... there are a lot of Kaidan fans on dArt too.

Oh, and the whole first meeting thing for Ella was sorta mentioned in flashback, and she attempted to be in denial, as the Alliance saved her after Mindoir, so she tries really hard to follow the rules.

Catherine really was in denial, however, as she'd seldom been close to anyone, so she spent the whole game watching him out of the corner of her eye and wondering why the heck she couldn't just manipulate him and ignore him like she did most people.

yeah, that fits my thinking a lot. My Mindoir Shepard has a lot of fears to let anyone close, because of the lost in her past. My earthborne is not so shy, she had already an adventurous live laying behind her, and would not care about the rules.
And my Spacer enjoys the flirts, but in her head she  always tries to tell herself... no fraternization...but in the end she will give in...

People which only give a bad review on a picture ore a story because they hate Kaidan are stupid and not objective. I rather ignore these people.

Sage and I got a bizarre apology on that Masskink fic where she claimed she didn't lift anything word for word. I can prove otherwise, but in the interests of my own mental health... I'm going to stick with the high road.
