BW is making these decisions on buisness sense and that Ashley was too controversial and the 17 year old boys who make up the majority of the video game consumer base could not possibly wrap their head around the idea that women prefer a mature and reticent badass as opposed to a loud annoying bragart, then I could understand their exclusion.

I'm fairly certain that Kaidan would be mortified of this conversation at the moment.

by the way, chem, taking this from the poll thread. Mature and Reticent Badass is now my favorite description for Kaidan of ALL TIME.

any guy willing to clean is indeed a badass. i wonder about kaidan's cleaning habits. i have a feeling he's a neat freak.
Neural shock or lift (he does have lift, right?) Because it incapicitates the enemy without killing them. Part of Kaidan's character was that he is cautious due to his experiences with Vrynnus. He's loosened up when ME1 begins and he learns about the Geth scouring the galaxy, but his patient manner is still there.sagequeen wrote...
question:
1) What power of Kaidan's do you see as most defining to his personality? (Barrier, because he's cautious and keeps people out, Medicine because he tries to help people, etc.)

it's treacherous being a kaidan fan sometimes. i've never understood why the male majority dislikes him. you'd think guys would take a hint from a thread full of ladies.Milana_Saros wrote...
Popping in just to quote this. Indeed an awesome description of him. Can't even mention his name outside this thread without having people (mostly guys, surprise) say how boring he is. Mature = boring. Don't we all know that {smilie}

... A t-shirt poll? Shouldn't Bioware already know to make a Tali and Garrus shirt off the bat?I think the fact they're the most popular characters in the game is a known fact. Sucks the VS got cut out, but I can understand why from the marketing perspective. Including Wrex too.
It's been addressed elsewhere, but it doesn't really make sense to those of us who just wanted a chance to show we care about Ashley and Kaidan. I don't think anyone thought they would win the poll over Tali, Garrus and Legion. We just wanted to be represented. I really like Sagequeen's post on the subject: http://social.biowar...94954/5#3298393 She says it all to the people who don't get why we're complaining. Too bad most of the people who don't get it will never read her post, or if they do they won't comprehend it.
Ah...yeah. I'm not sure anyone was going to read it either. I hope the devs would, but...unlikely. I just posted follow up: i don't care if Tali's the most popular and they only make a Tali shirt. whatever. i have my n7 hoodie and that's what *I* wanted. but just...be fair, you know? don't forget ash and kaidan! *snuggles both*
okay, back to lurking and ffictioning. added a little jack to the last chapter which got posted last night. you won't get an update, but that last bit is new
edit: that's Jack as in subject zero, not...you know...

I get where you're coming from, but I can still see why all three of them were not there. It is a Mass Effect 2 shirt poll, and in that game, they are not major players. I voted for Legion since I think that could be a pretty cool looking shirt if they design it right. But I'm not going to buy it.
But yes, Bioware made me scratch my head when I read that "most people let Wrex die."
Seriously?
