I did like Zev's accent (I've always liked Puss-in-bootsKioux wrote...

I was trying to come up with VAs who could keep up with Sbarge. Valentine did a lovely job for Alistair but outside of BW, I think the best is Tercelin Kirtley. Gosh I loved his VA in Dark Messiah - a game with one of the best cinematic ever... *randomness off*
Yeah. Tried a couple of times to watch his visual performances. Always freaks me out and have to turn it off. LOL.jillyfae wrote...
I keep seeing Sbarge in guest TV work, and it's highly disconcerting, as he is usually creepy. Or the father of a dead college student. Or something else not nearly as smexy as his VA work. And yet... same voice, but never as romantic in a TV/movie role. It's an odd contrast.

Here is a quick question for you:
Kenneth got the boot for sticking up for Shepard and defending his/her claims.
For this he got fired, while Kaidan gets promoted 2 ranks.
Does this mean he either, didnt defend shep's claims in the two years, or was he told to keep quiet and did that by the alliance and council? Or does he not believe Shep's claims till after Horizon?
Which character has Zev's voice?Kioux wrote...
@Jilly: That's the nice thing about Kirtley. He has decent looks and a great voice. The bad thing is - there are very few easily accessible works with him.
His voice is not quite comparable with Sbarge, but great in just a slightly different way.
@Jade: Zev's voice is alright and I really had to laugh when I recognized his voice actor in ME2, but he doesn't give me as much goosebumps as Sbarge or Kirtley.
I just really appreciate a good VA a lot. I personally think it can make or break a game.
Anyway, with that I will wave goodbye as shadows claim me. I have to hurry up to let that happen for dawn is nearly knocking on my window...
So NN or good morning to you folks

I will go with the supposition that is put forth in many of the FF's. That Kaidan tried to defend Shepard but couldn't push it (1) because it would raise suspicion about his level of involvement with her and (2) he is an L2 biotic--L2's are always being watched for signs of instability. They have smeared Shepard and called her crazy, etc. Him supporting those claims would not help him or his cause. He likely wouldn't have much choice but to back off.Giggles

I've been reading a lot of the various FF here. And I've noticed something. Kaidan comes off as rather cold in some of them. Understandably due to the heartaches he's suffered in ME2. But we've really only seen him in resonse to Shepard. What do you think his baseline was before her? Chakwas said he kept to himself. So i could see some people interpreting that as cold or distant.

For the record: he doesn't say the 'This can't change anything' line if you use the renegade option to convince him to be with you.
Shepard: "Shut up and get over here."
Kaidan: *amused* "Careful, Commander, or else I might think you're abusing your authority."
I can understand his caution, though. He's very loyal to the marines and deliberately going against regs is a serious issue for him. He has to feeling a lot of trepidation about breaking the rules due to his own emotions.

I think the VS stayed quiet after a certain point in order to try to carry on Shepard's work. It's one of those things where they probably did Shep more honor by searching for evidence (what they seem to be doing) rather than getting booted from the service where they were close enough to do something good.

Just a heads up to everyone:
Apparently some people are chopping up quotes from our posters here whenever we talk about the ME2 romances and using them to bash us, this thread and Kaidan. So, you guys might not want to even discuss Garrus, Thane or even Jacob because you'll likely be quote-mined. Apparently, you're not even allowed to say that a romance didn't appeal to you, no matter how nicely you may say it.
Honestly, with all the drama, bashing and bullsh!t that's gone on in these forums, I'm about to simply retire to a private group.
