I was a fan of Earth 2.

*snip*. I never played the NWN Undrentide expansion, even though I've got it lying around the house...Does Valen have a tragic death-of-loved-one back story?
Yep. Lover tortured and murdered in front of him by his master at the time.
BioWare is turning into the BattleStar Gallactica of video game writing. "Oh, look at this, everything is looking up, we're dong well for a change...HA! Got you. No seriously, your love interest just died, this guy's commiting suicide, and our race just got enslaved."
Don't forget your LI is an Angel and will disappear at the end of the game. Would have been nice to have a head Kaidan for Shep...would have loved to hear what he had to say about all the potential LI's.
Chem if this happends mes thinks your sig says it all:bandit:
Yeah, I would be heading the protest march to Canada.

Space Above and Beyond! Wow, I have not thought about that show in years, and yet somehow I can hear the intro theme in my head right now. So bad ass! Notable also for featuring David Duchovny (love of the 12 year old Crimson's life) in a minor role.

Sigh, BSG...my favorite characters were Dualla and Gaeta...so the last season got off to a really, really depressing start for me.
I'd be genuinely pissed if ME3 ended with the galaxy saved, but Shepard dead/an angel/anything but alive and happy with her love interest.
I was a Baltar/6 fan. I absolutely loved them...thought they got the weakest ending of all the characters though.
I was like...MIND BLOWN!
I was thinking more of the stuff dealing with the Opera house. It was kind of disappointing to find out that it was the Galactica and Baltar/6's role seemed smaller in that part than what the visions had previously suggested.
One of the things that always bothered me was if Kara died and came back as an angel and one could argue that one of the 6's or many of the 6's died and came back as an angel(head 6) who died to come back as head Baltar. Just one of my weird thoughts.

Haha...I was always a sucker for sci-fi shows doomed to be canceled. Maybe I just have poor taste.
We'll I've been up since 0400 my time so despite the fact that you guys make me laugh so hard sometimes I cry...I must adjourn.

Ah, that would be ideal....
But probably frowned upon at a public pool..
A private beach somewhere would be lovely......omg just had "from here to eternity" visions of Femshep rolling around with Kaidan in the wet sand...

Slow night. So....who wants to come up with reasons Kaidan was in pink armor at the beginning of ME2. It's become kind of an obsession of mine. I guess I just don't want to find out that the answer is someone was lazy and why program something else if Liara and Ash were already in pink. Personally, I like the answer that real men aren't afraid to wear pink.
Kaidan stands in the Normandy's hull, staring at the weapon station. It's been two weeks since they defeated Sovereign at the Citadel. Shepard's words come back to him as he gazes upon the makeshift memorial that the Commander set up for Ash:
I'll remember her, and I'll do better for her.
Kaidan smiles sadly and pulls on a suit of Phoenix armor in memory of Ash.
Awwww.....

*applauds!* Beautiful!
Definitely sensing a pattern here! Anomen, who is probably BW's whiniest male LI (even though I rather like his character/romance a lot, hence the username) didn't have a dead wife... instead, he got a dead mother AND a dead sister to angst over, poor guy. Not to mention a horrible relationship with his father (more BW daddy issues). I never played the NWN Undrentide expansion, even though I've got it lying around the house...Does Valen have a tragic death-of-loved-one back story?
My god, Kaidan is so refreshingly angst free! What are these silly haters going on about, "he's so whiny"? For the record, I never thought Carth was particularly whiny either - even if he had been, getting to bicker with him, calling him names and having him react positively to that would still have made the romance in KOTOR totally epic!
Yeah, Valen has a bit of a tragic backstory. Trying to remember this but as I recall his mother was a prostitute who was killed by her pimp (a demon) who beat and enslaved Valen.
Edit: Whoops -- no, Teen has it right, it was the GF.
