The nicest facade can hide the kinkest of fellows though.
Probably not in Kaidan's case though.

I dunno. The quiet, repressed types are supposedly the wildest...

Kaidan fits the bill perfectly in that regard :innocent:

I really have a hard time seeing Kaidan into hardcore stuff.

He seems like a guy who would enjoy Mariyln Monroe vintage stuff more.
Or using the power of imagination with Shep in mind.Posted Image

You should read my fanfic then

But I see where you're coming from. I guess it depends on the Shepard he's with.

I can see Kaidan willing to try new things :) Posted Image ...and I have your ff bookmarked, Fort. I'm afraid to read much fanfic because I've started some that never had an ending. I like how you think though so I'm sure it'll be a fun read~

Hehe yes, Giggles. The scene where Kaidan uses the power of imagination with Fort's Faith in mind should come with a warning: contents are extremely hawt!

Which is the fic you are refering to though?

She has like six and I am multi-tasking.

(cleaning up pics, uninstalling, music, facebook, cleaning up favourites on the net, and reading SC2 reviews)

kaidan has to relieve stress somehow. he's thirty-two or thirty-five depending on the game. and he likes adventurous woman so i'm with you that he's willing to try new things...

Hey all, in efforts to keep the KAST going strong, set this up if you just have the uncontrollable urge to Kaidan bomb.

Hope you like.

I'd like to read that version, but I really don't like that the site requires you to give your name and birthdate.  I know it is for verification purposes, but just too much potential for identity theft beginnings there.  Posted Image

*Whispers* So give a fake one. How would they know?

I mean... ahem... Kaidan does not approve of lying.  Actually, I don't know if the subject ever comes up in-game but I tend to think that Kaidan would be the sort of person to advocate telling the truth unless you have a really, really good reason not to.

I really didn't like that squad mates didn't just say their opinion in certain circumstances and instead had to be paragon or renegade. Considering Kaidan is the most "paragon" of the sliding scale (which surprised me considering Liara), though, it's not entirely unreasonable to guess that he would tend towards paragon decisions for the most part in actuality.

i, too, found that odd. also, it seemed like some characters got to have the "badass" lines and the others got the "derp, newbie" lines. on ilos, for example, one person gets to be the "who votes we take the tank into the creepy underground bunker" person and the other says, "don't let them get away!" one game, garrus got ALL the badass lines and kaidan sounded like this total newb in response. next game, kaidan was the one saying the badass, veteran soldier lines (including the tank line, and the delivery is hilarious) and garrus sounded like this rookie. it was just...strange. like total luck of the draw sometimes. it was why i never played with wrex in the party - kaidan always came off with the rookie lines.

anyhow.

I got the "who votes we take the tank into the creepy underground bunker" from Kaidan and a "Good idea" or somewhat from Wrex.  Garrus always sounded rookie whenever I took him along, though.

XBox?

I wonder if some extreme hacker will make a hack to get the Kaidan model to replace someone of the ME2 team.... just a random thought I had while writing. I would want Jacob replaced with Kaidan! Then the whole taking off the shirt scene would totally work for me.

I thought of this a while ago.  Unfortunately, unless you muted the audio (and provided then that you could even change the subtitles), it would be along the lines of, "Kaidan suffered a major mental breakdown and is now acting very creepy-like."

And then there's Horizon to take into consideration.  A tale of two Kaidans.

... and yet I still want to see Kaidan in Jack's place, storywise, though.  With tweaking, to make it fit.

No.  I mean... yes, if it were implemented in the game itself, but I meant more my line of thought at seeing the ME2 trailer, where Jack wasn't fully revealed and I assumed (due to her biotic display) that she was Kaidan in a [laboratory/prison] somewhere.  I found it interesting and wanted to know more.

I guess I just have to rewrite ME2 from the ground up in my mind.

I think the Noveria thing depends on who you pick and what slot you put them in. Honestly, that was one of the things that ME1 had against it... squdamates changing their minds.

I noticed that in trying to get Kaidan to do the "Extranet fettish site" line on Noveria.  I tried with several combos and every one else always stole his line with their own until I finally brought Garrus along.  Then I finally got him to say it.
I wonder at the algorhythms that they created to determine which line gets said by whom.  Posted Image

I've played ME1 like five times, and I've NEVER gotten that dialogue from Kaidan.  The only reason I know it exists is because of YouTube.  Seriously.  I don't think I've ever taken Garrus or Tali to Noveria with me.  Maybe I'll do that on a new playthrough and just reload if Kaidan's "extranet fetish" dialogue doesn't come out.

Oh, and hi everyone!

I've never had the dialogue either (or even seen in on youtube actually) I should do another play through to see some of these things people talk about. I just hate having to create faces.

it's a garrus/kaidan dialog, so i think i got it about every time. it always made me laugh. but then i had to go back and get liara so i could get the "rtfm" line from kaidan, too. i based a lot of my playthroughs out of what would get the best lines from kaidan.... hm.... yeah, i'm a dork.

incidentally, i think you can actually make an me2 face based on a code you can get from the face code database, then import it backwards into me1. takes a lot of the guesswork out of it.

Ha! I had forgotten about the "rtfm" line. The first time I heard Kaidan say that I was laughing so hard. *sigh* I love Kaidan.

I'll have to google how to import backwards or something... But you totally just made my day! I too despise creating faces in ME when I know I am just going to mess with them more in ME2. I never thought I could save the trouble.

*ALSO I had never heard the RTFM line until coming hear and then you-tubing it. I never take Liara with me. I just can't do it, knowing I'm going to kill her mother right in front of her. But the way he said it... :o
