Now, a vendetta from Vyrnnus' relatives, that would be interesting.
eep.
I, uh... had a ficbit dealing with that. Now I'm not sure I want to post it. Then again, I guess I wasn't sure I wanted to post it to begin with, since it's not finished and up yet.
Anyway! If/When I play a ManShep, there will be bromance.

And DANCING!

Kaidan dances really awful, but I guess you can't blame him. Shep is not much better. Or the dancing scene when Shepard is trying to get the attention of Morinth in Afterlife. Awful! Come on Bioware, hire me for the motion capture dancing!
I'm a Gooood Dancer
...
And from the suggestions bar...
And apparently the main page is suggesting I watch "Mass Effect 2 - Kaidan Alenko Romance Ending" because I watched "Mass Effect 2 - Tyrone Shepard can't dance" ... Okay, then! XD

That reminds me of a youtube video I saw a few months ago. There's a girl playing ME and she sees Shep dancing at Flux. Her eyes light up like she just got an idea. So she stands up and starts dancing to the Flux music. It's hilarious! She dances to it everywhere (like in a library and out on the sidewalk) and she dances EXACTLY like Shep dances at Flux-same hand movements and everything.
This one?
(I'm also amused by this one.)

Why is it that Kaidan cannot be appeased by mere touching? Touching that he initiated, even.

Well, at least he is still with me, because I'm playing ME1

Welcome Sian (if you're still around)
Perhaps the alliteration helps. But my own name and my hubby's start with K's. So its natural for my Shepards' names to start with "k"FireEye wrote...
I was going to ask, but I forgot: regarding the "do you factor Kaidan into your Shepard's appearance" question, what about names?
Simply because I thought I was noticing a number of K. Shepard's around here. XD
At first I thought they sounded the same, but I don't anymore. Sbarge did a great job in pitching his voice lower than his own speaking voice and Carth's for Kaidan. Plus with Kaidan usually being so calm and Carth tending to get more riled up, they sound different as well.Kassy B
Oh, Joisan! I wanted to thank you for your input on kotor the other day. I youtubed carth and you're right, he is totally different from kaidan. I mean I know it's Sbarge's voice but I soo didn't hear kaidan at all.
yes. Leaning something different from his backstory would be nice in ME3.Josian
I would definitely prefer that to something with Rahna, but I still vote for any Kaidan-related ME3 quest having nothing to do wtih BAaT. We know too little about the rest of his life outside of that, I want some more backstory dammit!
@Dancing: Grrr...The Xbox version doesn't let you do it (or me anyways). I've gone to the Flux several times in the story and never get the little blue circle que for dancing for myself or for any of the characters. Anyone play it on Xbox that has gotten it to work? I wanna dance with Kaidan!
@FireEye: I love seeing that Shepard has been holding Kaidan as well. I"m usually so focused on him hugging her. I like seeing how she's reluctant to let go there.

Kaidan is Japanese. So the baby name things online don't have an accurate meaning in them that I've found.
And I've been told here that Alenko is Australian.
Anyone else know anything about the name?

Kaidan (or Kwaidan) is Japanese for ghost story. Alenko appears to be an Eastern European surname, but I'm not sure which exact country it comes from.
Other than suggesting that he's of mixed heritage, I don't think there was a special meaning behind Kaidan's name. I mean, they named Ashley after the lead character of a comedy-horror movie...

If you check google, it comes up as a first name on some baby name site that says it's Australian, but as a surname, I saw Bosnian and Slovenian facebook pages come up for people with that last name. Yeah, I have that much free time in my day...

So the prompt says "talk" and not "dance?" I don't think I tried to click on "talk" last time since it didn't say "dance."
I wanna dance with Kaidan, darn it!
