@sage - i've wondered had shep not grabbed kaidan and pulled him into a kiss if he would have ever made the first move.  i also never realized the computer love scene had more footage compared to the xbox one until watching a shenko fanvid.

yes. it's a total moment of laziness on the part of making a specific romance scene, but it works, i think. i know people complained about shep crawling over kaidan, etc, but that was another one that totally cracked me up. i thought the whole thing completely fit femshep's personality if she chose kaidan: take charge, but appreciating his um...insubordination?

Absolutely. It's like Kaidan really wants to, but needs that last little push and Shepard is all like, "we're gonna do this, right now! and grabs him. *swoon* On the plus side, all of this Kaidan talk has me itching to write the sexy bits in my latest chapter of The Archivist. Time to get to it!

Both Shepards took opposite directions. Meghan was Renegade, Avery was Paragon.

i think the complaints i saw were more on the lines that she...um...ends up on the bottom. and that she spends time nekkid and he doesn't. personally, i had no complaints.

Uh.. those are dumb complaints.  We only saw the beginning, we don't know who ended up where... It's easier to hide a girl's assets in animations than a boy's....

i did not know the love scene was a point of contention. i think people invent reasons to complain about kaidan half the time.

i think in the fanfic i tried to work in every line - (except the "no" of course) just because i liked them all so much.

but i think for the one i frapped i went with neutral lines mostly. they seemed more upfront and encouraging. i didn't think kyrie shep would take it lightly, so she actually doesn't joke around much. kaidan's little "i don't want to mess this up" bothered me, except that it's the one where he calls her "shepard" rather than "commander" so i liked that better. still, that line always made me go " <_< kaidan..."

@sage - kaidan's practical and has to be sure that their personal and professional paths remain separate.  that's his version of foreplay.

oh my gosh! akodo, i was watching your vid and was like, wow! shep has her own bathroom. i had honestly never noticed that. avoided saying in the fic that she had her own bathroom because i wasn't sure.

Hell - if it was after me there could have been even more Kaidan in ME1. More text, more flirting and joking, more banter and even small scene that show interactions between the crew-members, additionally to more talk after smaller missions... yes, I wouldn't have minded that. And just for the hell of it and for some more on topic - I still have the bookmark for the very first Kaidan Vid I found after I started playing ME.

Here. She's a romantic soul... to a certain point.

I like some of that dialogue better than what I've been playing.  I'll have to do those this time around (I'm on Virmire right now with Kara).

I don't think my hubby wants to go there.  But he does understand that my current obsession has...benefits for him. 

Do you think that Kaidan went to her quarters with the intent of seducing her?  I doubt it.  As she says, he's still so hesitant.  I think he more planned to clear the air between them, try to lay things out a little more.  But Kaidan always has a backup plan.  I think he thought about it and perhaps hoped.  And he picked a location for the interaction where they would have privacy.
But if she hadn't made the first move?  I don't think there would have been enough time for him to get around to it before the reached Ilos.

Is there really more footage for PC?  I'll have to watch my Xbos version again.  I don't see stuff in the youtube versions that have more really than what I play.

Wow.  Ashley is much more decisive than Kaidan!  LOL.  And she's the grabber, not Shep.  Huh.
Our scene is better, though.  Sheploo doesn't look nearly as adoringly at Ash as Kaidan does at femShep 

I don't think that guy gamers are going to want to watch naked side view of Kaidan or Sheploo crawling up the LI.  And you know that they are only going to animate it one way.  As much as I would like to see that cute bumm of his as he moves up toward femShep, I think this is more in character.  FemShep has had to be the more forward one of the two the whole way through.  I like that she starts off taking charge, but then he turns that around. 

*rolls eyes*  I know there are people that probably complained that it put her in a submissive role.  Is that a problem at this point?  So Kaidan is the dominant one in the relationship for what?  7 seconds of screen time?  The rest of the time femShep is in charge.  Plus, I know that for many of us here Kaidan had, um, a better/any idea of what they were doing.  So it would make sense for him to take the lead.  And from the animations of him doing the roll-over he does it with such a gentle, loving manner, I just don't see what people were upset about.

Yeah the part where he says "This can't change anything, Shepard" is like way to kill the mood, Alenko. *rolls eyes*  Of course its going to change everything no matter how hard you try to fight against it.  It only took Kaidan 2 years to figure that one out.

@ki - last night i was on youtube viewing kaidan videos.  i have a couple in favorites.  every time he dances, he lifts his boot and shakes it around.  that move is hilarious.

@jade - kaidan is rather clumsy when it comes to relationships and feelings.  it's a charming quality.

oh, see, i TOTALLY think he did. totally. he's been hinting about shore leave, tried to kiss her, and then he just *happens* to show up in her quarters? too many of the lines hint that, i think. if you reject him, he asks not to be kept waiting. if shep says, "you're more than a subordinate - don't you think it's time you started acting like it?" he immediately jumps to the conclusion of breaking regs. i just totally took it that his mind was already there - he's just hesitating to see if she's on board, because 1) that's what he does and 2) she's his superior officer and if he read her signals wrong she might totally nail his **** to the wall. (<-- my edit there, not the forums)

yes, he is charmingly...deluding himself there. again though, i keep thinking that is completely an indication he wanted her and came for such purposes. i dunno. it sounded like something he rehearsed in his head - along with "it's been a pleasure"...
