Going back to Kaidan, I think I'm going to make my next MShep look like him.  The code for the face is on masseffect2faces.com.  I always somehow manage to make ugly MSheps.

I've tried the Kaidan-eque one.  You need to add eyebrows and get rid of the sole patch.  It looks similar, but not quite Kaidan--like a close cousin.  And for some reason black hair looks greyish.  But I have the beginning of a "Kaidan" Shepard game saved.

Both Kaidan and Ashley had very distinctive faces you really couldn't duplicate in the character creator. Kaidan even has the cleft chin, which appears to be part of the model, not just textured.



I wish I had leet 3D modeling skills, and was able to extract Kaidan's ME2 model into 3DSMax. Oh the possibilities...

I might be able to figure it out if I owned 3DSMax. And by the way, you can import 3DS files into Poser. Now that is what I call possibilities!

... though if you've already done that, then I have no suggestions; I haven't toyed around with it yet.

I can buy the Kaidan romance when Shepard acts like a military officer and Kaidan like a Lieutenant. But when a line like "I'll be waiting with baited breath" comes up, it jarrs me completely out of the way I would roleplay the romance.

But I do really like Kaidan, I have for a while. And his is the only ME1 romance I haven't done yet, and I figure it's only fair that I get around to him. (Oh man, that sounded so philaderous...)

I don't think I ever heard that one, Indigo, and I almost always take the top dialogue options with Kaidan.

They are so soft and touchable!

I did find some of Shepard's lines in the romance (or elsewhere) not particularly appealing, but whenever it came up, there was always another option.

but his reply is so cute! "Ohhh. You are good at that."

hey, you can't expect shep to be smooth all the time.  unless she's in the habit of fraternizing a lot, she's probably not going to be really good at that.

however, the "renegade" line there is perhaps better: "I will be tracking your shore leave, soldier." kaidan: "huh. i would have hoped our shore leave would be joint."

I have the xbox version.  So I don't have a lot of fancy options to play with.  Just that code from the site, then take away the soul patch and add eyebrows.

And yes, his eyebrow are a little full.  LOL.

I like the romance dialogue.  I usually pick paragon.  I don't find any real cringe-worthy lines like in ME2.  I do like some of the neutral dialogue in the pre-Ilos part and the near-kiss

That's the only shore leave comment I remember too...

And I'm not at all possibly replaying through ME1 right now for research and wouldn't be looking for any such lines....
