Morning Ladies :) (And to some of our token gents as well if you're around)

I was wondering if any of you could help me.

I was reading a fic about Kaidan at BAaT a little while back, but have lost who wrote it or what it was called. I didn't know my way around FF.net yet to be able to bookmark it.

I posted in there, but for the most part, the posts were pretty ignorant by guys only impressed with boring characters like Zaeed, Wrex, and other "badass" characters/

Yay, I saw!

I never really saw a Kaidan support thread until ME2 forums . . . . . I only started going into the forums with news of ME2, but anyway, I do love how so many of us materialized out of lurker status. Cameo brought about a good thing, there!

Yeah, I guess so, shame it had to be that way though........... <_< I liked Kaidan (and Ashley) from the get go, when the game was released. I was amazed when I found out there was hate for either of them, tbh.........

I think that the teen guys, being more immature are likely the most vocal.  They also tend to like to "show off" with their mouths when its relatively annonymous.
They don't seem to be able to appreciate guys who have sensitivity--regardless of their performance on the battlefield.  Carth, Alistair and Kaidan all can kick butt, however are little used and little liked by that population.
I'd take Carth over Manderous any day.  Same with Alistair vs. Sten.  And Kaidan vs. Wrex (although I like the combo depending on the situation).
The "settled women" vote is a non-vocal minority--partially because we're so tired of being bashed for finding Kaidan the wonderful character that he it.  Unfortunately, the squeeky wheel often is the one that gets oiled.
I just hope that BioWare has taken note that this thread is (now) the most active character thread--and it has not been shut down due to abusive/immature behavior.

I won't have internet access at work this afternoon. But I read all of your stories (all three of you) anyways. So I'd be happy to help if after work is fine.

Perhaps one of you will reciprocate when I have my R&R story done.

@Jade: We all like to beta, so that shouldn't be a problem. ^_~ And I don't think we're in a hurry ...

I acutelly think that more people would appriciate Kaidan as a character if his dynamic with Maleshep was better, i'm not saying it's bad as it is. But it lacks something I can't put my finger on.

The fact that maleShep doesn't get a lot of the dialogue a romanced FemShep does does hurt the character a lot.

It lacks a couple key conversations.  Especially the one right after Eden Prime.  That one's not even romantic, but lets you both respond a bit to each other's backgrounds.  Greatly missing in maleShep/Alenko bromance development.

Yeah, now that I remember it. Femshep gets the chance to talk to both Ashley and Kaidan!

Well, you know.. Kaidan wouldn't possibly want to get to know his new CO at all.

It's a shame you can't have the conversation just after Eden Prime with Maleshep. Oh well!
