Sometimes being born really early in the year or at the very end confuses people. Or at least I was born in January and people always have a hard time adding it up, if you get my drift. Him being 35 makes sense. 32 when ME1 started, turned 33 sometime during ME1 events, Shep died and 2 more years passed.

he was born later in the year in 2151.  let's say that's february to bioware.  he's still not 35 in 2185 during me2.  that timeline is bananas.

It could be just the way the wiki words it too, but he'd have to have been born within a few weeks of the crash.

Either way, his timeline isn't as screwed up as poor Miranda's

i wish the developers would polish up the character's histories because there are quite a few with basic information that is not there or contradicts itself entirely.

I may have to add a Kaidan birthday party into my fanfiction.  Shepard jumping out of  wearing a cake too much?

Fix'd :innocent:

Strategically positioned cupcakes???   "Take you pick Lieutenant!   This one is vanilla, this one is chocolate."

I suspected that he might have been pretty early in development for the exposure to take naturally-like without damaging him.  But I was wondering whether the exposure at different points during development had a higher rate of bad side effects to stable biotic potential than others.

There are two statements I would make, except that they are somewhat contradictory, and I'm not sure either is appropriate.

Therefore, groping.

To bring this thread back on topic after my massive derailment, anyone else notice how Kaidan tends to linger in the comm room debriefing cut scenes? He is the last to get up from his chair after Shep dismisses the crew.

I never noticed.  Perhaps he is waiting for one of those more personal debriefings he always mentions.

I'll need to take some time to process that one.Posted Image
I think I have an embryology textbook at work somewhere and I'll think about it tomorrow if I have a chance.  But I'd say bad effects are more likely as the nervous system is in rapid development--that it would cause more mutation than if the neuro system is more-or-less developed and then the eezo imbeds itself into it.  Does that make sense?  I'll postulate weeks of development later.
Had a FIVE hour long meeting after work today and my brain is completely fried!  No more hard thinking.  LOL

Or was it a personal de-brief-ing

are you saying it was likely he was exposed in the womb near the end of the pregnancy since his side effects were mild?
