One fear that I've had is that the VS has been saved to have a moment of redemption where they sacrifice their lives for Shepard to defeat the reapers.

I'd ragequit if this happened. Then again I'll look up spoilers to make sure it doesn't. But I'll find something to ragequit if it happens XD

Same here!  I DONOT want the VS to sacrifice themselves in ME3.  Heck, I don't want Shepard to do this either.  Share those spoilers with me so I can also be prepared to ragequit!

Some potentially good news. The new Liara dlc will be available Sep7 and will give players the chance to continue her romance. Hopefully we'll get something nice too.

It's just not fair .... I want "some" Kaidan in the Liara DLC.

Well, I don't think we'll get that. But we may get dlc involving the VS. That's my hope.

We may, or we may not. I personally doubt that we hear something new about the VS 'till ME3. Just saying.

Oh, I doubt it too. There's much less of a market for the VS than there is for Liara. I don't know if they'd put the effort into it if it isn't as viable of a selling point as other ideas.



But there still is that little glimmer of hope. They're allowing Liara fans to continue their romance with her, after all.

I have a teensy sliver of hope for the supposed post-suicide mission DLC. Because even this... LotSB newest doesn't seem post... if Liara can join your squad.

i assume this mean's she back on the ship then? where would they put her?

incidentally, i have decided that if kaidan returns to the captain's cabin, he should so get the little desk next to shepard's bed. there's a free picture frame there where he can put in a pic of shep

i'm confused - so...she goes back to illium?  that is nice that this is coming out though. i am personally looking forward to what this will tell us about shepard's death and comeback, if anything.

well, as much as i would love DLC, i primarily want a good romance arc to the VS story. so if i have to wait until ME3 for something fantastic, i'd do it. not unlike the tali fans who had to wait for ME2 to get talimance and then, holy cow but ME2 catered to that subplot imo. same thing - if the VS make a bigger, better romance in me2, i'd wait.



though i'd love to have my cake and eat it too by getting both DLC AND me3 happiness.

Honestly, I think that a larger selection of armor and weapons and all the side mission that they're coming out with should have been in the game to begin with. Some of us don't have the money to keep buying dlc like rats in a Skinner box.

^yeah i'm poor and shelling out munnies for dlc is not in my budget at the moment. i'm happy for liara's fans though.

Chris is the Community Coordinator, so while he's the liaison with the fans, he can only pass along the message. 

I would go crazy for a VS DLC, but I don't see it happening at the moment.  There is no current storyline for them to wrap up, and we're apparently just a smaller portion of the fanbase than all the other LIs.

So I am actually very happy that the details for the Liara DLC were announced, but I have to be cautiously pessimistic about our chances of getting the same.

Well then if we don't get dlc then that would mean that every single fan group got romance content where the VS fans didn't.

I think there is a chance for a DLC with the VS. They have said that there will be DLC bridging ME2 with ME3. I'm personally hoping for a "Tell the council about the reaper threat-DLC" But in any DLC bridging the two games it seems likely that the VS could appear.

I agree with this too, but I still remain skeptical because I don't want to get my hopes up.

But yes, "bridging content" is what they seem to be into. So unless ME3 is coming out soon, they're going to have a lot more dlc that connects the two games.

i am optimistic also, but again, i want really good content more than i want DLC. with that said, i have enjoyed the DLC so far, and i'm a dork, so i've gotten all of it except for the appearance packs (wtf?). i loved kasumi, liked the hammerhead, love punching zaeed in the face, and i just got overlord downloaded.



so, *shrug* i suppose that means BW has their claws in me. but i've really liked what they've done so far, so i have hopes for a decent DLC *IF* they do one. but again, i'd prefer quality of storyline over speed on this one
