Okay. Still have to write to that writer from ME (got sidetracked by writing my FF fluff and smut story). Perhaps I'll include that idea of the VS saving Shepard.

EDIT:  I like the new armor he has.  Very complimentary.

I was all for betaing until you said sad ending. Sorry. I really can't take anymore sad this week. But there's lots of people here who love to read the "early editions." Plus, if you get a ff account you can send people DocX and they can write all over your stuff for you.

In preparation for the Liara DLC, I used the Kaidan-esque code from the fan list of face codes for ME2 and the ME2->ME1 converter to make a pseudo Kaidan. Not quite right, especially without the facial textures and scars. Oh! And I'd suggest using one skin tone lighter than the posted. Not quite right, but still nice to have both real Kaidan and pseudo-Kaidan to gawk at during the game. Yum.

I have a hard time playing ME1 too, now, because all I want to do is take screenshots of Kaidan and remember happier times.  It's hard to actually get things done ingame when I'm doing that...

He's similar--more like a brother or close cousin than exactly Kaidan.
If you play on pc, there's a way to put the lines of his face and his scars on.  But I'm on Xbox.

You have to add eyebrows, I put a chin scar on him since there's not cleft chin
I gave him a short beard--to hide some lack of facial texture (I already thought about that and Shenzi's suggestion convinced me)
I think that his cheeks need to be a little less gaunt, too.  But I didn't feel like messing with it too much.

One thing I did notice in the elevator on the Presidium, Kaidan has a bigger build than Sheploo.  A bit thicker, more muscular.  Again, yum.

I've been having a hard time getting into my fic writing because of ME2. It's so not my Shepard that I can't even place emotion on it.
