***ME: Retribution Spoilers******
We used to have speculations about seeing some of Jump Zero during ME2 . . . on the old ME1 LI speculation threads. We still technically have a chance to see some Alliance space station, where we would meet Kaidan/Ashley.
Or, they might use a skin that is already in the game, like the Citadel. That's a more likely scenario. I wonder if it would be helping the Alliance take the rest of those Cerberus stations down, that are mentioned in ME: Retribution

It should start on planet Maikupsexion.
I had to read that out loud to get it. I'm sucha blonde. LOL
I think the Citadel would be a good place. Lots of areas that have already been mapped out, so that's less $. And it would make sense with the whole trying to work it out with the Alliance/Council storyline.
Where would the rescuing of Shepard by Kaidan take place? Still the Citadel?
Maybe they could meet up in Anderson's office and receive a post-suicide mission request from him to work with the VS on a critical mission since Shepard has a particular skill they need.
Idk I'm just thinking of accessibility. And perhaps the love scene could happen en-route to the location or afterward.

I don't believe that they ever intended to give us DLC or even a satisfying conclusion in ME3. The VS DLC thread was going strong, full of good ideas, only a couple of haters in beginning, and your post was just LOL NAKED MEN.
The thread is only 4 pages in, there is still plenty of time to make it a great suggestions thread, post ideas to BioWare, and let them know that you want a satisfying bridge to a Kaidan or Ashley friendship and/or romance in ME3.
BioWare has shown interest in keeping its fans happy, so if there is enough support for DLC content...we're pretty much telling them, "Hey! We'll pay you to make this! And it'll make us happy! I'll placate our fears that you don't care about us character fans!" And then they can take our ideas, weave a script out of it, and we can get a couple more hours of Kaidan or Ashley that will tide us over till ME3.
Look at how long some of the other wishlists are.
I REALLY encourage Kaidan supporters here to post in that thread, for whatever new ideas pop up.

I think we've got some good ideas here. Though I do wonder if something is already in the works because the LotSB is quite a surprisingly early announcement seeing that the game came out 6 months or so ago.
I'm usually a well of negativity about ME2 and whatnot, but this is very odd and seems to be in our favor.
Edit: I do my best, Teen

I was wondering... not only the Liara romance continuation (given the circumstances, it would be very odd if Ash/Kaidan didn't get one) but the silence might actually be a good sign, considering how fast the mods seem to shut down some suggestions/requests - they may simply be keeping quiet to announce it later, rather than confirming early or lying to deny it.
Don't know, though. Kaidan DLC wouldn't fix ME2 for me, but I would be interested in playing it anyway.

But if its all working toward a (hopefully) satisfying conclusion, does ME2 need to be "fixed"? Its part of the story--the odds that Shepard and his/her LI have to overcome to make them stronger in the end.FireEye wrote...

I can't speak for others, but it wasn't just what happened with Kaidan that messed up ME2 for me.
I've got a long essay in the KAST about it in one of the threads... it explains pretty much everything.
Edit: Here it is

Bringing yourself home . .
/jokefail.
I'll go into the V.S. thread tomorrow, once it has calmed down a bit. Can't hanlde more potential drama right now. I worked all day . . . lol.
The thing I do want to see the most, however, is a different role for Kaidan and Ashley, rather thant he copy/aste role we have seen so far, but that probably won't be very likely.

I agree with you; Kaidan dlc wouldn't fix ME2 for me either but it'd make me think of reconsidering BW. Maybe.
Yeah . . . it definitely won't, but it would certainly improve the game, knowing that there is some sort of resolution, before the next game. I wish Shepard could have more of a chance to explain herself . . . . or even allow Kaidan/Ash have more time to process the situation + the Shepard they knew, etc. . . .

My problems with ME2 ultimately had little to do with the handling of the LIs; the LIs are the cherry on the sundae and I'd still be here talking Kaidan even if he wasn't romanceable. For my enjoyment, ME2 has bigger problems, both in gameplay and in lore shifts, and I highly doubt these problems are gonna go away in ME3, particularly since ME2 has established them as canon.
And, uh... I haven't written my essay yet. XD

And wet.
I did not have to read it out loud.
I want a happy Kaidan something, and it would be nice to get a bit before ME3. But Shadow Broker was planned before ME2 was released so...
Hope springs eternal... (I hate hope, it hurts when it's dashed)

I had trouble with it, I am not ashamed to admit it. I have been up at school all day, and studying French no less.
I need a Kaidan snuggle DLC, STAT. Or Kaidan tickle fight DLC, either one.

Don't give up now...if we stop our complaints then we'll never get a Kaidan DLC. We have to keep going!
