Haven't a clue...have been thinking you might get some material from Abercrombie & Fitch if you were looking for hot male models to photoshop Kaidan onto. Just google it in images and you'll see lots to choose from.

Just need to see what messed up curly hair looks like...without it being a fluffy rooster hehehe :P I'll see what I can find.

I just googled wavy male hair...the first page scared me. Patrick dempsey was a on one of the following pages...his hair isn't bad for wavy hair but it's not the right color.

Ok, so I've decided to finally stop lurking (thought to be fair it has taken me a while to catch up with all the posts, go you lot!) and post some Kaidan love! I'm Beth, hello all!

Loving all the photoshop Kaidan yuminess, my pinkie finger keeps hitting that right mouse button to save! And this thread has resulted in my mind staying permanently 'guttered' all day. No actually are there sewers at the bottom, because I think I went there, got through water processing and dived back into the gutter for the next round! :P

Anyway, going way back to the discussion about how that picture got there, in my mind Chakwas should have given it to Shepard personally when she went to say hi.
-Shepard nodded to the doctor and turned to leave the med bay
"Commander!" Chakwas called after her. Shepard span on her heel and looked enquiringly at Chakwas, who was rummaging in one of the drawers on her desk. "Here" she said pulling out a picture frame, "I think you should have this."
Shepard took the frame and turned it over. On it was a picture of Kaidan, her Haidan. her breath hitched as memories came flooding back. "I- uhh. Thanks Doc..." she stuttered. Chakwas gave her a warm smile and then gestured that she could go. Shepard nodded again and headed staright to the elevator, she intended to put the picture on her desk immediately.-

Ok, so that turned into a vignette...but something like that, I always feel that Chakwas would be my Shepard's mum figure.
Wish I had more time to write fanfic, today I thought about a scenario in the Mako. I can imagine Kaidan and Shepard having a competition to see who can jump the highest in the Mako, using the thrusters and when Shepard gets a good jump Kaidan moans that it shouldn't count because she launched off a ridge, not from flat land. Shepard would reply that there was nothing against ridges in the 'rulebook' (which Kaidan didn't know about because it was a WIP and nothing at all to do with Shepard making the rules up as she went...).
Anyone who likes this idea is free to use it, I just don't have the time!

Love the art Lady Winde, Kaidan looks beautiful when swimming! If you need inspiration, I think confused Kaidan would look very cute, though not sure why he'd be confused. Maybe he just heard the advert about elcor Hamlet...:wizard:

Bwhahaha... Its the multi-story garage of gutterness? With Kaidan posters in increasing density as you go down?

That is hot.

Gah!  Smexy Kaidan thoughts up 110%, productivity down 80%.  I simultaneously love and hate this thread at the same time.

So I was wondering, does Kaidan remind anyone else of someone in real life?  Back when I was playing ME1 he always made me think of a younger George Eads.  If I was casting for Kaidan I would pick him.

Image IPB

Thoughts?  Or is Kaidan just too awesome to translate across mediums.  I can't be the only person on the planet who imagines Nick from CSI with Raphael Sbarge's voice...on second thought, I probably am

Also, what messed up curly hair might look like: GIS Mark Ruffalo

They do look quite similar, though the actor's chin is somewhat wider. No ******

So I just read that endorsement in the elcor voice. I keep wanting to do that to my friends, but they wouldn't have a clue what I was on about!

Morning everyone (or evening/afternoon - damn I hate time zones), catching up again :

@Mrs Templar love the new chapter, keep them coming

@Doug - laughing so much I was crying & couldn't breathe, finally Alenkfish appears.

Other random thoughts :

1. Alliance/Cerberus - wouldn't surprise me if Admiral Hackett is invovlved somewhere. Cerberus can go where the Alliance cant politically, parts of it may have "gone completely rogue" but there are just too many advantages to the Alliance in having this sort of organisation operating.

2. Shenko romance - I sort of picture them keeping things cool on the Normandy but in my head they had some leave coming shortly after the Normandy destruction & were planning on spending it together (in my fanfic in sheps apartment that she won on Pinnacle station (sorry to mention that dlc, lol), away from everyone.

3. My fanfic - after announcing it was completed it has now gone through 5 rewrites and combined 3 fanfics I'd started into 1 - I've created a monster, lol. Still not completely happy with it. Interestingly enough I had the hardest time writing Shepard. If anyone wants to be a reading guinea pig, let me know

Tis the eternal curse of most gamers - you're friends don't have a clue what Elcor, Hanar, or Volus are, heh.

Welcome Shotgun-Shepard...I like the Mako idea...I love humorous fanfic especially when it deals with the Mako...I got so frustrated when I drove the Mako in ME that I would just lose it laughing...not much more I could do.

I've totally had the same thought. That apartment just screams, "do it here, here, here and over there". =]

I actually miss the Mako! It was such an experience trying to get up mountains, but my Shep is  the "We are getting up here, now everyone lean forward!" kind...much to Kaidan's annoyance;

"Can't we just go round?" - ever the voice of reason Lt... :D

Agreed.  None of my friends game and my husband only plays shooters where he can kill real people...in the game.  Erm, real computer people.  I digress.  I have to keep a lot of game related commentary to myself.

He's got similar eyebrows but in other pics his jaw seems too wide in my opinion. It's just hard for me to see him any other way than the way he is in game...wish Bioware had based him on someone real. Your Mark Ruffalo suggestion was excellent...I think his hair would work well.

I was so stubborn...I was constantly getting stuck in a place where it wouldn't go anywhere and I'd just keep trying until I fell all the way back down...I drove myself crazy.

Indeed. I made a Hanar joke the other day about not knowing where my friend 'Hannah' was. It was met with blank stares, bar a laugh from my mates boyfriend, the only one who knows what I'm talking about most of the time.

Anyway, on a Kaidan note, showing some love for the marvelous arrangement of bum pixels! I am now imagining Shepard standing and observing very quietly as he bends over that bloomin' terminal, her head tilted to one side in appreciation...

I have alot of gaming friends IRL, but none who are interested in characters I like. We all may play Mass Effect or Dragon Age, but I'm always the only one who likes characters like Alistair and Kaidan. And I get told often how much they both whine as they want to get under my skin. >.<

Same with me more or less. I start wanting to throw vegetables at the next person who goes on about Kaidan and Alistair, who they call "the Carth" just to annoy me that little bit extra.

2. Shep actually wins one at the end, can't do much there though, just visit & check it out,.  Can't remember what planet/system now will have to go back to ME1 & look, lol.  I'm in 2 minds on Pinnacle station - no story just a lot of shooting scenarios.  I must admit I held out on getting it until just before ME2 release - thought I probably should in case it had some relevance, which it didn't.  Would probably say that people that didn't get it didn't miss much.
3.  Will do a final spell check soon & let you have it.
