Sorry, I started it. Of course, it doesn't take much to start it.

argh - at heretic station. i wish i had kaidan along on this one. what do you think he would say? hardest decision in me2, because i just can't quite figure out what the get ARE - hard to apply human logic/ethics to them.

Yeah... I never got the rewrite the geth as a paragon action. It seemed like a renegade one. Brainwash or destroy are not good choices period... but destroy rather than enslave seems like the paragon decision.

this has actually got me thinking of potential casual wear for Kaidan and Ashley in DLC.  Alliance jackets are very cool; could be worn for non combat option.

Also, what style do you think Kaidan wears in his spare time?  I imagine something casual European with an eco slant (like Vancouver), also with a space slant.  Asari eco-fabrics?  Or is that too high maintenance?  I was thinking Ashley would have the courage to wear some steampunk-inspired space wear.

Or, being too busy to care about fabrics, and wanting to wear something comfy, they might stick with an N7 hoodie and cargo pants.

Well since Kaidan always seems to want to take the more decent option I think he would want to rewrite them.

Although this scene is sorta like the end of one of the Stargate Movies.

For Kaidan, jeans and a t-shirt.  Dunno about Ashley.  She's probably low-key, yet still fashionable.

And groping.

yeah. i sort of feel like kaidan would have a rachni thing to say: "shouldn't we be consulting the council on this one? or the quarians at least?"

come on tali! why don't you have anything more useful to say?

*sigh*

That was something cool in Dragon Age, was how people would argue in some cases behind you about what to do.

I didnt like in ME how people just stood there and picked their noses the whole time. Which is why the Wrex confrontation is so cool.

Unfortunately, I wouldn't trust the quarians to determine the right thing to do with the geth.  But then I... kinda... sided with the geth in ME1, so.  :innocent:

The geth decision seems to be a lesser of two evils scenario.  I could easily see Kaidan go either way (perhaps like the "should you disconnect the braindead man from life support" decision, where you get told either way that you're doing thhe right thing).

Something I'm curious about; what if Kaidan were to show up in Lair Of The Shadow Broker? What would be your reaction? Would you still feel snubbed due to the fact that they didn't get their own dedicated DLC mission? Or would you just be happy they were appearing again?

depends on *how* they appear. if kaidan/ash showed up at the end like all walking up smexy and like "oh hai thare. wanna join me at the alliance for some dlc...?" fade to black - i would be "curse you bioware!" and then play it again to get a million screen shots of it and wait until hte new DLC came out with baited breath.

but if it was horizon again, i'd be sad.

If he had a substantial part to play, then I would be happy.  If they had another cameo, I would probably groan a bit but take what I could get.  Although I'd still prefer for him (and Ash) to get DLC missions of their own (and perhaps it could go both ways and Liara could play a part in their mission, too?).

... I think I've used up my allotted hope for the day.  <_<

You mean, if Ash/Kai waas making that appearance, only, rather than getting a separate V.S. dlc/

I'd mutiny. Then rage on the forums until they banned me.

LUCKILY, we won't have to worry about that. I doubt they will do a Liara dlc and not one for the V.S.

Pfft, he won't.

But hypothetically speaking, if he did, I'd still expect dlc centering around the VS. This dlc is for Liara and the VS would be a tack on. That being said, since it's Liara's dlc I can say with 98% certainty that the VS won't even be mentioned in the Liara dlc.

At this point I'd be glad if there's even any mention of Kaidan and Ash.

Liara is going to mention to Femshep that she was the doctor on the Citadel that Kaidan's friends Tali and Garrus set him up with.

Ya know what?  I'm okay with it if she's the doctor.
He said it was only drinks.  And so he was exaggerating to see if Shepard cared if he tried to move on or not.
As long as Liara stayed out of his mind and out of his pants, its all good.
