Eidetic memory. Words are my passion and stories my sustenance...and I have a strange obession with the 'ae' combination that I'm trying to kick.Sialater wrote...
You and me both. *sigh* I just don't remember all my Sheps names since they went to the RROD graveyard. (I didn't count Meghan and Rachel.)
You realize fighting is silly. We each have our own Kaidan.
Oh, and I forgot Braan...my first playthrough. She was my only vanguard and my first level 60. I haven't dusted her off in a while.
But let's not talk about me, let's talk about my fangirl obsession with Kaidan...
So...there will be consequences in the DLC for those who cheated on Liara. Do you think it will be a precursor to what we can expect from those who cheated on Kaidan? BTW...I think the word 'cheated' in this context is sooooo High School Musical. Sigh.

Oh my gosh - that was pretty much the scenario at my house when I got to that scene. This is how it went --
*Hubby sees my jaw drop when Kaidan walked away from my FemShep*
Him: "What'd you do to ****** him off so much?"
Me: "Well, I died!"
Him: "Oh, yeah. Guess I'll go talk to Liara again."
Yeah, he romanced Liara with his ManShep and is all excited for the new DLC. Meh.
I also wanted to come out of lurkdom and say hello!

On that I agree. It's dumb.
Well, the Garrus thread found Christina Norman's twitter about it. Let me go see if I can dig it up. ETA: Here. Which kinda indicates there may be repercussions for romancing the VS, too, not just the ME2 LIs. It doesn't say "cheating" it says, "romancing someone else."

Hiya, Imp!
My husband felt bad for me. But then he says Ash's Horizon confrontation wasn't nearly as wrenching as Kaidan's.

I must admit, I'm also very excited for the new DLC. Maybe then we'll have a better idea of what to expect from a possible VS DLC and, of course, new ideas for the VS DLC-thread.

My boyfriend wasn't home when I was on Horizon, but I knew Kaidan would be there because he had told me he had seen Ash there. And I think it's a good thing he wasn't around, he would have seen me weep like a baby.
@Chignon : I would always have Wrex/Kaidan as my team. I love Krogans
(Not that excited about the Liara DLC, never liked her that much.)

I loved Wrex and Kaidan as well. They do have some hilarious dialogue. But I'm quite fond of Liara and Kaidan - think of all the blue biotic sparkles!
Oh, wait. You can have that with Wrex, too. Nevermind.

I wanted something small and fluffy, because, to quote Shenzi, Horizon was just that bloody awful.

Fine, you big poo-poo head. I'll take my Kaidan and go home. *throws sand*

... sorry, sorry... just... any excuse I can. XD
Anyway. It occurred to me while catching up - I usually play the, "Shepard is shocked and/or trying to keep Kaidan away from Cerberus" card myself, but... Cerberus using Kaidan as bait makes it impossible that Shepard would just let him walk away and hope that it would enough to keep him safe. Why? Because if they did it once, they might do it again; and if it were an "innocent coincidence," and TIM was telling the truth, then the Collectors are after Kaidan, too. Which means keeping him in sight would be the only way to ensure he was safe at all times, suicide mission or no.
(I mean, I know not everybody's gonna think that way, but still... you can't even warn him to watch his back? Heck, you're leaving him with a bunch of colonists that hate him, who is to say they wouldn't simply take out their murderous frustrations on him for what happened to their friends and families? Come on...)

Still impressed with your detail and shading. Also, I really like the design on your Shepard.
(We need a "fix Horizon" patch.)

Yep, Horizon was certainly bloody awful. Great concept, lousy implementation.

Thanks! I love Ash's hairstyle. And I'd love it if Bioware made some hairstyles a bit more tousled. I mean, Shep's fighting Collectors and Reapers and not a hair is out of place?

@Chignon....you have a beautiful skill for capturing emotion. No, looking at the image more...in capturing emotions. There is so much going on in each face that looking at them, back and forth, becomes almost a conversation in itself, no words necessary.
You are very good.
Thank you! I was going for that since the in-game Shepard shows so little emotions.

Yes, I have one. It's in my sig or click right here.
