I adore Ash. I was so mad in ME1 when I had to chose between her and Kaidan. I mean, my choice was of course fast and clear  But I was sad to lose Ash...

I hate losing squad members. My fist ME2 suicide mission, I lost Legion and Miranda! Is it just me that gets super emotional in losing virtual characters?

Anyway.  It occurred to me while catching up - I usually play the, "Shepard is shocked and/or trying to keep Kaidan away from Cerberus" card myself, but... Cerberus using Kaidan as bait makes it impossible that Shepard would just let him walk away and hope that it would enough to keep him safe.  Why?  Because if they did it once, they might do it again; and if it were an "innocent coincidence," and TIM was telling the truth, then the Collectors are after Kaidan, too.  Which means keeping him in sight would be the only way to ensure he was safe at all times, suicide mission or no.

(I mean, I know not everybody's gonna think that way, but still... you can't even warn him to watch his back?  Heck, you're leaving him with a bunch of colonists that hate him, who is to say they wouldn't simply take out their murderous frustrations on him for what happened to their friends and families?  Come on...)

Oh, I agree... but short of knocking him out and dragging him off... there's not much to be done.

It was a reply directly to someone so I wonder if they asked a question about "Hey what if I move on from Liara?" I don't think it means that every Shepard is screwed if they didn't romance Liara at all.

Learning from your tragedy, I went out and bought some flash drives to back up my ME saves.  Also because of a podcast where one of the girls' apartment got broken into and her consoles and computer got stolen.  That stuff is replaceable.  I'd be pissed to lose my ME and KOTOR game saves.

I knew what roughly would happen since I played ME2 first. But I had hoped against all hope that he'd react differently to a romanced Shepard. And I mean differently, not just two alternate lines and a hug.

(Even if the hug was nice.)

Can I just say I have a little jealousy for the Liara fans?  They have the DLC, sure.  But when the LI sees her, they get a kiss.  With the VS, you get a hug, then yelled at, then his back turned on you.

Point one--I agree with you there.  Just 'cause they already used him once doesn't mean they won't target him again.  You don't think that TIM would hesitate to get word out on the next place that Kaidan is stationed to try to draw the Collectors again?  Worked once already.

Point two--the colonists wouldn't do anything serious to him.  He's still Alliance.  Even though they are not technically in Alliance space, if they assaulted an officer of his calibur, there would be repurcussions.

I agree.  But why not go after him?  Knock him down like...(Shenzi is that yours?  Agh!  too many FF's.  I'm getting them mixed up. )  anyways knock him down and make him listen if needed.  Or jsut going after him and asking him to sit down and talk about it after his report (so he has space to go in his "man cave" and settle down for a few).

Yea this is the question she replied to:  "If I got a new romance besides Liara will I be able to choose between Liara and my other romance in Shadow Broker DLC? "

and because we're seriously slacking on the Kaidan pics lately

If they were being smart and rational, they wouldn't, if only because it would put them in serious hot water.  But a pissed off mob?  A single person who lost everything and no longer cares what happens to them, who just happens to get a lucky stab in the dark?

Just saying, humans don't always think things through when the situation is normal, and I sure as heck can't count on every last person left behind to be perfectly rational when aliens just swooped in and abducted the people they held dear.

The right and left hypochondriac regions are the upper right and left regions of the torso.  The Epigastric is the lower center region of the torso.

Look at the number pad on your keyboard and think of it as a human torso.  7 and 9 are the right and left hypochondriac regions.  2 is the epigastric region.
