That was my thought--the grief thing.  With the biotics and all it's hard for him to keep up with his metabolism in the first place.  But with the depression he was sure to feel, he likely didn't eat like he was supposed to.

We'll see in DLC/ME3?  As in shirtless Kaidan?  I hope so.

anyway, good morning all and happy father's day to the father's and potential father's here. (no i'm not insane, it is father's day in Australia)

after reading through part of the thread about Horizon, i thought about what i was hoping a kaidan reunion would be like before i played Horizon and found myself in tears. I had read that Kaidan would not be a squaddie but i was hoping that shep might have been able to ask for Kaidan's help in trying to break free of Cerberus. My question would be, if there was an option on the dialog wheel to ask for Kaidan's help, what would Shep say that Kaidan would recognise as asking for help, but would not tip off a cerberus operative who may be standing behind Shep at the time?

I watched Just Like Heaven tonight with my mom because I rembered someone saying how Mark Ruffalo's coloring/features somewhat resemble Kaidan.  You know what?  His hair was messy throughout the film, but he has curly hair.  On the sides it was cut short enough that it laid straight and the front locks were combed back, which produced...can you guess?...a hair bump.  LOL

I got all sorts of hilarious mental images from that. Had me laughing out loud, thank you lol 
One way Bioware could turn a romantic kissing scene into something hilarious for sure. I mean if they copy and paste femshep over Sheploo in ME3, she could very well be carrying him bridal style as well in the ending cutscene Speaking of marriage, what could both Kaidan and Ash wear? lol...no...I'm going to believe they will take the extra time to seperate the two...I have to....believe...yes.
Because Kaidan in a tinfoil skirt and thigh high boots? No no no no no....

I think Kaidan would wear his dress uniform. What Shepard wore would depend on how you see your Shepard. Not all Shepards would wear a conventional wedding dress and who knows what passes as conventional in the future, lol.

And I definitely do not want to see Shepard carrying him bridal style, or see him in a tin fol skirt, lol, plus I'd like some good writing without the cheese, please

And I agree, I definitely do not want my Shepard to carry him in bridal style....In this case I'm oldfashioned and like better it the other way around

I haven't watched that one.  I'll have to locate it.

I would see Kaidan in an old fashioned black tux with tails.  I think that would suit his personality.
And no.  I don't want him to be carried.  I think we've had enough of the reverse cliche where Kaidan needs to be rescued/treated like the damsel in distress.

I think that JaerWolfe's fic is right, though.  I don't know if the powers-that-be would be able to resist trying to make their wedding into a PR boost--two of the galaxy's greatest heros and all.
But I think that both Shep and Kaidan would prefer something more private and intimate without the media circus.
