Side note: Did you take life drawing?

I've been drawing since I was two, so I've been told. So I guess that means... 27 years?

It's my most favorite hobby in the world. And anyone who feels discouraged all I have to say is this: Practice, practice, practice. It's the only way you can improve and watching self improvement is very encouraging. It's a good stress relief, for me anyways, and when bored your muse can pleasantly surprise you.

I've always wanted a job dealing with art in some way but... yeah. :\\ I can say though that I was accepted into Digipen back in 06 for their art program but due to insufficient funds and unable to get any grants or loans (LOLOLOL badluck) I wasn't able to go. I'm proud I was able to be accepted though. I still have my car decal. :3

Anywho that's that.

When I was a kid in elementary school, I was actually a decent artist and got sent to special programs to work on it, and then I transferred school districts and the only way to be in the gifted and talented program was to lose two of your four electives in middle school. Since gym was mandatory, and my mom forced me to take Home Ec, I never got another art class so the ability went by the wayside,

No I don't think he would have spent the night with Shep if there hadn't been the possibility that they both could have died when facing down Saren. I do think it would have eventually happened when they took shore leave though.

I think Kaidan approaching Shep that night and being open to the possibility of spending the night with her had as much to do with the fact that he had already broken the rules by being a part of the stealing of the Normandy as did to do with the fact that they might die. I'm not sure if he would have approached her if the Alliance had sanctioned the mission to Ilos and no rules had been broken. Breaking the rules seems to be difficult for him.

I thought your stuff looked like you know what you're doing. There's a certain sight that artists get; you really have to train yourself to see things.  I always find me asking myself when I draw, "does that ____ really look like that?"

I used to draw 20+ hours a week when I had drawing I. Those were the best drawings of my life. I don't draw half as well as I used to.

Seeing is 90% of drawing, I think.

Re Kaidan & that night - I don't think he came to Sheps cabin with anything particular in mind other than just check in & see how she was doing, & air some thougths about the mutiny. If Shep hadn't of instigated things I don't think he would have. He probably would have waited for shore leave.

Funny that you mention that; I spent my entire college career with all the guys convinced I was a total player (pro tip: I'm not) because I was constantly surrounded by ~10-12 women.  My guy friends even started calling them "Ben's harem."  Amazing what a little respect for the complimentary sex can do.
