Edit: I now have confirmation that the line is not different if you romanced the VS. Liara simply says that she heard about Horizon. BFD <_<

sigh.  i guess it cost more money to have the actors say another line.  close friend.  whateves.  what about the letter bioware?  harumph.

I saw quite a few people in the LotSB thread say something about wanting a VS DLC. It'd need to be an actual storyline plot to do with, well, the main story, not just romance. I think just making it about their romance would actually damage it than make it better.

@batt - i've noticed there has been support by quite a few people for a vs dlc. i'd love a mission to do with the reapers that advanced the overarching story.

I think most people have concluded some sort of Alliance liaison mission will happen with the VS. And something to do with Anderson. But with what I have read about Anderson in the new DLC, I'm confused about that too.

EDIT

DLC also proved Shepard can have a "moment"(not romantic) with Liara, so I can easily see something like that with Kaidan and Ash. Romantic scene if you romanced them will happen too I assume. I haven't seen what happens in that scene with a romanced Liara.

I know it's only one line and its not always even said...but it's a bone. A small bone. But just hearing his name at all in this DLC means he hasn't been totally forgotten like he was with Kasumi.

To what end though? Shepard refers to the VS as a close friend, even if there was a romance. In contrast, people that romance Miranda can say that she's one of the main reasons to fight. 

TBH, I don't feel like they're throwing us a bone at all. It's a slap in the face.

gah. now i really want the dang thing. fix the PC version, BW!

in the meantime, i will be sitting here playing starcraft, musing over the fact that ali hillis plays doctors really dang well. its weird to hear her voice while waiting for the DLC of...her voice.
