I played it last night, I do think this is the best DLC yet, and even if you just think of Liara as a friend and never plan to romance her, there is tons of cool stuff in there. Definitely worth my ten bucks. My only complaint was that they could have had a dossier or video footage on Ashley/Kaidan, (omg I would have been SO happy for either), but I'll live.

Stop tempting me.  First I'll get my hopes up then I'll buy it then I'll go from apathetic to hateful and I'll never be able to trust anybody again.

Other that that, my feelings are same as TZ's. Good piece of work, but no Kaidan, not even a dossier of him or Ash. That line Liara is mentioning him is kind of... out of place, and what Shep's is saying is unjust I think, throwing him to the same category as friends...
Well. Let's wait those 24 hours for something new. Lots of upgrades should be delivered. This is not a spoiler I think.

I'm about 1-1/2 hours in.  There's a point in that timeframe where Shepard talks a bit to Liara about how she's changed--with paragon interrupts.  All I could think about is "Gosh, I REALLY wish I could do this--talk rationally--with Kaidan."

Yes, that scene was good, not too pushy, not lame either. Something I'd like to see in the future.

I was trying to do a little research before finally writting my letter to Mac Walters.  A little discouraged.  I thought for sure will all of our creative Kaidan fans we had better numbers than for other characters.

I think the thing about so much fanart of Garrus, isn't necessarily for the popularity of the character, though that may be a factor, but because it's supposedly VERY difficult to draw a turian, even when you're not making up everything below the neck. Sometimes artists just like a challenge.



And I think Kaidan is still suffering fallout from his former fangirls for Horizon (and no, I'm not saying they're justified, I'm just saying what's going on). It'll be a while before the numbers improve. Unless these stats have been constant since ME1.

As an artist, I would be more inclined to draw Garrus or Thane, just because they are more visually striking and as Sia says, more of a challenge. However, there is way too much Thane and Garrus fanart out there already, the market is "saturated", as they say, and unless I'm drawing something for a friend, I wouldn't be drawing them.



Another thing to factor in is that fan fiction is mostly romance oriented, meaning ~*girly*~ while fan art is more balanced between action scenes and romance scenes. I'm pretty sure Garrus is the most popular character with both sexes in general, so it makes sense that he would feature in many action oriented fan drawings.

I agree that I was very happy that Liara mentioned Horizon and Kaidan, but it's sort of bittersweet.  My opinion is posted in the KAAS, (so not to spoil it for those who don't want to know), but...I am still happy that there is a mention.

A character kind of told me off regarding my background, which was awesome that it was acknowledged even in the game.  So, BioWare definitely made progress with LotSB.  Except for one thing, it was phenomenal.

What was said... I played through with a Femshep and I don't remember her saying anything.  The same goes with a Sheploo who romanced Ashley.

I am enjoying LotSB for its own sake.  I like the furthering of the ME story, not just a stand-alone side mission.  But I can't help but wish for DLC similar in nature for Kaidan.

When you pick the frustrated response when Liara asks how you are feeling Shepard says something like her closes friends not believing her, and Liara answers that see heard what Kaidan said on Horizon. A small mentioning, but still a mentioning

Has anyone seen all the videos in the Shadow Broker base yet? I haven't seen more than the first batch, and wonder if there's anything equally interesting in the later ones.

If I had the time, I'd churn out as many art works as I could.   I hate college.   I need a Kaidan and kitties binder to take with me.  

It might not be as bad as it seems. Garrus is well liked by both men and women, while Kaidan seems to be please the female audience more then the male. This could explain the huge amount of Garrus art. Also Garrus seems to be more loved by younger women >25 while Kaidan is the prefered choice of 25+ Younger people usually has more time to make fanart, youtube vids etc(or at least I know I did)
