As I wrote earlier: yes, but in what context? As a friend even for a FemShep who romanced him and stayed fathful, and as the one who turned his back on you on Hoirzon when you complain to Liara about none of your friends believing you.

No offense, but this half-assed line is a "could have been worse" for my FemShep.

If I knew how to scour my PC files to find audio, Fort, I would look to see if there is any hidden files that were missed involving Kaidan/Ashley.

Really enjoyed LotSB... Trying not to be pessimistic about Kaidan/Ashley's chances for such an awesome DLC.  Every now and then in the hours since playing, I feel a bit sad or jealous.  But I just have to remind myself that the Liara fans haven't had it too easy either, at least until now.

On the one hand, Kasumi doesn't acknowledge the romance, and neither does Liara (just the friendship line re. Horizon). On the other hand, we do get comments from Joker and Kelly after Horizon. While I don't regard either of the comments/questions as ideal, a Shepard who romances Liara doesn't get to discuss her with Kelly or Joker after returning from the small reunion with Liara on Illium. So there is something there.

I choose to believe that, much as we love these characters, the writers who created them love them more. And I hope they'll get the treatment they deserve. It's just difficult with this long wait, not knowing much one way or the other. I think that's as good a reason for calling this a "support thread" any anything else. We're not just supporting Kaidan's awesomeness - we're supporting each other.

Hmm I'm optimistic about dlc involving the VS, if they can match it or make is better than the LOTSB then great.
I've said before it feels like they kept these characters back for a reason (as they said), if they didnt have quite a significant role why bother to even keep them alive and introduce them to new players with a mass effect 2 cameo? If the devs care about them so little why not just have them killed off in that scene by letting them get taken by the collectors... I dont always feel optimistic about it, but if we do get dlc with the VS I'm hoping it will change their popularity around a bit, I think whatever theyre involved in will have to be big considering they'll want more than their fans to buy it. I didn't like Liara at all, but I've warmed to her since I played LOTSB.

I hope you're right, Lovestories. It's just that so far everything in regards to Ash/Kaidan has been pretty disappointing to say the least.

Every Shepard gets the Kelly conversation. I think the "I don't date crew" is the only unique line from Joker.

I dislike everyone getting the "do you have feelings for him/her" line.  I mean, it disrespects the Shepards who *didn't* romance Kaidan / Ashley as much as those who did.  (I can just see someone who wasn't attracted to Kai / Ash at all going "not this again"...)  Then again, it is Kelly. She likes to gossip, particularly when it comes to romance.  You might be talking about anyone on the ship and she'd still wonder if you were romantically involved!

Finished the LotSB.  I really liked it.  It was nice catching back up with Liara
I REALLY REALLY want something like this to touch base with Kaidan again.

I picked that line to get the Kaidan reference.  Even though its the Renegade option, its how I feel anyways.  So I liked it all in all.  I'l have to go back and try the other options later.

Open the door behind Liara, the video monitor is on the side.  Some of them are funny, some are just showing everyday life, and some hint at plot lines for the future.  I'm actually going to be checking every day to get new packages and see new videos, that's not something I do with many games at all.

The one thing that made me extra sad and jealous was seeing the romance scene from the DLC on YouTube.  Don't get me wrong, it's great, but it made me sad, and though I immediately thought "I want that with Kaidan!", I also realized that there is no way Kaidan and Shepard can patch things up and pick up where they left off that easily, after Horizon.  They now have a big gaping chasm between them that needs to be bridged.  Are we going to get that chance in the next game, or will the writers bother???  

I need ME3 to be announced, so we can be one step closer to finding out what will happen squadmate wise.

The age thing may be true on the KAST and KAAS, Fort... but that doesn't mean it's true out in the rest of the fandom.    Not every Kaidan fan belongs to this thread and group, despite our best efforts.

i realize the kaidan romance probably accounts for like, 5% of all ME gamers, but still, BW would have my undying loyalty if they resolved it well.

aaannnd i STILL haven't finished LotSB. after finally downloading it, it didn't work. after getting the right download, it crashed halfway through. after finding the workaround, the workaround broke all texture mapping. so i am now reinstalling the entire game. yup.

well, from what i've seen of it, it's good. and on the upside, i'm getting a lot better at starcraft.
