I've been wondering the same things about Shepard's email. It's like there's a huge extranet site called "Shepard's suggestion box". And there's a disclaimer that Shepard can't actually reply.

I agree about the email. It's Kaidan's "voice," but it's out of character and implausible for him to have sent it given the information we have at the moment. Which isn't a lot.

I'll admit, at this point I've more or less put my Mass Effect interest on hold until we learn more about what awaits us as far as any potential DLC or squadmate status in ME3.

ESPECIALLY if you got the confrontation scene.  She knows you chose him, after all.

I can get Tali and Garrus and Wrex not mentioning him, they may not know.  But SHE knows.

And perhaps Shep is being sensitive of Liara's feelings by not talking about Kaidan/Ashley or referring to them as a "close friend"?

...But why does Liara know about your new relationship, if you cheated, but not that.  Sigh.

I heard that people got the sense that Liara still has feelings for Shepard and still wants Shpeard, even if you turned her down in ME1.

shep says something along the lines of "Honestly Liara, I'm damn tired. Tired of Cerberus, tired of the Alliance...something something... Tired of worrying about the Reapers." It's the renegade option when she asks your opinion. i was so glad i decided to go with kyrie's mouthy mood there, because it was so perfect. to which liara replies something about the council being stupid, then "I heard what happened with Kaidan on Horizon" that must have been awful, blah blah. standing in front of the photoframe as my shep was (though it didn't turn on, i can understand why though, that was probably a programming thingy) it was all the more poigniant. just shep pacing in front of that still-up frame, barely talking about it, then pulling herself back to the present. i personally found it was perfect. it's a liara DLC after all. great nod

honestly, my only complaint is than in one dossier it refers to shepard as "he." stupid mistake. and the sentence could have been easily re-worked to make it gender neutral. that was my only complaint from the whole DLC. and this coming from a gal who had to reinstall EVERYTHING to get it to work right.

actually, my other favorite biotic is my shep. after the DLC, i wanted to dance. hardcore, no heavy weapon ammo, almost no regular ammo, and adept can STILL kick butt.

I won't lie. I'm pretty jazzed to finally play this tonight. Though I need to actually make a Liara lovin' ME1 playthrough yet. For some reason, my old game save data got lost in a move, which kinda sucks.
