I was thinking more along the lines that if he doesn't come retrieve the photos from the data disc directly from us, we would circulate them through the Extranet...

Of course, we wouldn't really, but he'd think we would anyways...then we can tie him up and keep him our cabin!

Other random thoughts :
1. Alliance/Cerberus - wouldn't surprise me if Admiral Hackett is invovlved somewhere. Cerberus can go where the Alliance cant politically, parts of it may have "gone completely rogue" but there are just too many advantages to the Alliance in having this sort of organisation operating.
2. Shenko romance - I sort of picture them keeping things cool on the Normandy but in my head they had some leave coming shortly after the Normandy destruction & were planning on spending it together (in my fanfic in sheps apartment that she won on Pinnacle station (sorry to mention that dlc, lol), away from everyone.
3. My fanfic - after announcing it was completed it has now gone through 5 rewrites and combined 3 fanfics I'd started into 1 - I've created a monster, lol. Still not completely happy with it. Interestingly enough I had the hardest time writing Shepard. If anyone wants to be a reading guinea pig, let me know

I'm not sure; I think his love for her is genuine, but I also think that the uncertainty-not only of Ilos but of the whole situtation- pushed him to move more quickly than he usually would. The stakes were VERY high and he couldn't live with the idea that one or both of them would die without knowing the truth.

Also.. I'm writing a fanfic, and given that none of my friends know anything about Mass Effect, and that you guys/girls are all incredibly awesome.... and that many of you are quite talented writers.... I need a couple people to read/edit it (this fic) before I post it. Any volunteers? It's a Shenko set immediately (!) after the defeat of Saren and hitting the beginning of the interim between the games.

I think the locker scene (which, when I played it the first time, caused me to excitedly call my husband into the room to explain that I now knew the pain of blue balls) was the point at which the line of no return was crossed.

The danger of Ilos was still impending, following the rules had just doomed the entire galaxy, and they suddenly had time to spare. I think that is when it clicked in their brains to go ahead and acknowledge the relationship as a relationship and have their kiss.

So although the idea of Ilos was already there, it was still more about the acceptance of being there for each other and needing each other--about Shepard breaking down and really relying on him as a shoulder that was the change.

And then Joker and Anderson and off to Ilos, and, if that sequence of events happened immediately after each other, it was all pretty soon after the locker scene. So then Kaidan going to her room seemed to me like a continuation of the locker scene that he had already committed to...and then the rest just flowed naturally from that point.

So to me, it seemed more like them getting to that level of fully being there for each other and less about them possibly dying. That said, I think they got to that emotional level faster than they would have if the possibility of dying wasn’t continually being thrown in their faces (with Ash dying being as much a factor as Ilos coming up).

True story: after getting up at to get to my course, getting lost 3 times and not having any money for the car park, was running to the course and my bra strap broke :-s now have to sit here all day in an ill fitting bra with a knot tied in the strap, some days I wish I'd never got out of bed!



So some kaidan yumminess would go down well!
