Oh, I definitely think that they had some time to talk and sneak time together here and there, but I just don't think that in the wake of the attack on the Citadel and all the clean-up chaos that they would be required to help with there would have been any "shore leave" time like they had planned.fortunesque wrote...
They probably didn't have time to have sex again after Ilos but that doesn't mean the relationship didn't continue. I mean, they were probably thrown right back onto the ship for the next assignment. That doesn't mean that they didn't have any more long talks and that doesn't mean that they didn't make plans to stay together.

You know what else I noticed? You know how we talked about how Kaidan is a bigger man than mShep in ME1? Having the two directly across from each other showed me that I don't think that they did use the same body model for Kaidan as for mShep. Again, Kaidan's bigger than mShep.
Funny. His sweet, shy courtship of femShep sort of camoflages that he's a big man.
Uh oh. Gutter thoughts rolling in...

@Fort I don't think they were as rushed off their feet as they were last time. Doesnt Joker or Pressly or someone say at the beginning that there hasnt been any sign of Geth for ages? Werent they just flying around looking for them...
I think Ilos is referenced because it makes more sense to the player, than to have kaidan mention other moments together the player didn't witness. I don't think it's certain whether or not they spent more time together again. But I think they did, although what Jade said makes sense.
I agree with that as well. The night before Ilos was kind of the time they finally told each other how they felt so it was obviously an extremely pivotal moment. Who knows what happened between then and the day Shepard died.
Honestly, the whole thing happened differently in my head, but I'm always screwing with the canon.

Urghh...That's why I really hate what BW did with the VS romance, they just ruined all our hopes to follow the relationships...
I'm still waiting that they fix the mess that they create when they forced us to work for TIM and Cerberus.
We missed a lot of time of the history between Shep and Kaidan/Ash.
They only gave us a miserable scene on Horizon, that had nothing of romantic...It's not fair, Liara's fans saw a kiss with Shep, when they encountered on ME2, we only got a miserable letter and a hug.
The more I remember this more angry I feel...<_<

So I obviously have way too much time on my hands, and I edited up a new Launcher for the PC version of ME2, featuring Kaidan:

A kiss would have been lovely but I'm glad we got a hug at least. Since Kaidan and Ash are so neutrally written on Horizon so new players wouldn't get all confused, it could have been much worse. Which would be a real accomplishment since Horizon sucks on almost all fronts. I say almost because seeing Kaidan in the generalized cutscene and out of that awful Phoenix armor, really made my day on my first playthrough. Little did I know back then, that those scenes were all I would be getting. No wonder my first playthrough took so long, I searched all corners of the verse for him before and after Horizon lol

Yeah, the kissing in ME2, in all the kissing scenes look kinda awkward. Which is strange because in ME1 it was all really well done. >_O
But, I'm glad it was just a hug. Otherwise, I'd have taken Kaidan and Ash for a pair of fools. They never knew for sure if Shepard was coming back, did they? But Liara was directly involved in her "resurrection."

The way I've always thought about it in my head, my FemShep and Kaidan didn't have a chance to have another Ilos type night after what happened with the citadel.
As Jade said, "Oh, I definitely think that they had some time to talk and sneak time together here and there, but I just don't think that in the wake of the attack on the Citadel and all the clean-up chaos that they would be required to help with there would have been any "shore leave" time like they had planned."
I see it like that. In ME1 they were both clearly fighting their feelings for one another at least while they were on active duty. After the citadel battle I think that aside from a few stolen kisses here and there, they wouldn't have had much opportunity to explore the physical part of their relationship. I imagine that this must have been even more difficult to do especially after the Ilos encounter. Sexual tension galore! Okay, my mind is reverting to the proverbial gutter.

I dunno, as much as I would like to think there was lots of sexy time, they're both professional soldiers who are used to abstaining for long periods of time, long missions in space and all that. I think the physical part of their relationship was only allowed (by them) initially because of the extreme circumstances, in the normal daily grind o see them both as being able to keep a lid on it so to speak. The need for emotional intimacy is a little different, soldiers form very close bonds when out sonic anything I see that side of their relationship flourishing, hushed converations in dark corners of the ship with at most the occasional stolen kiss *shrug* maybe I'm just a romantic.

Oh, that's fair point FireEye. That thought never struck me, really. o_O Well, I think most of my Shepard's have inherited my nymphomania... xD They'd find a way! >
Wait. So that little mole you say shows up on both sides behind his ear sometimes?AkodoRyu wrote...
@Sage: you didn't see it, because there's no birthmark. It's just a shape that shows up shadowed sometimes. It's symmetrical (shows up behind the left ear) and shows up in ME1 too.
@Jade5233: Kaidan has same model as mShep and other human males. The trick is to set another person higher/lower than the other. When you use a flycam, you see those kind of things
For Kaidan's sanity? Heck. I think Kaidan would be the more cautious of the two, at least with my femSheps--that Kaidan would be the rate-limiting-factor of anything physical happening.Fenris
Oh, come on! Have some faith woman! They most definitely had sex more times than BW lets on. ¬_¬ They had to! For Kaidan's sanity! And his four FemSheps that I made for him!
