Playing as mShep and just having had the Horizon experience, it was interesting talking to the Illusive Man.  I really  wanted to tell the ****** for putting my friend in danger like that--and he could have since Kaidan was just a friend and he didn't have to worry about revealing deep feelings for Kaidan like my mSheps did.
But there are no options to really be nasty with the guy.  The paragon ones are upset about the colonists, but nicey about it.  The renegade options are about going and kicking Collector butt for taking colonists.  There really are no options to tell TIM what a royal jerk he is.
I would say that is the player being under duress to work with Cerberus.

Yeah, the player is forced to work for Cerberus.  At no time did I feel that Shepard was forced to work for Cerberus, and she did give them far more chances than the one chance she renegadely promises in the beginning.  (And how she thinks they deserve that one, well... My Shepard wouldn't agree with the "you saved me, so I'll give you a chance," but I know some would, so that one can genuine for some people).

That, too.  And Kaidan does show an interest in the physical side of things, "It's hard... [keeping it separate from duty, etc]."  Cautious though he is, I think the only reason he would have turned Shep down at any point (even had she propositioned him before Ilos) was if he thought it was purely a physical thing.

Very true FireEye, it all depends on the perspective of your Shepard but that@s the beauty of discussing it because we all see things differently ;-)



Even my renegades I like to think of them being jerks for the greater good rather than their own needs so from my perspective the fraternisation thing would still apply and even as a nympho I think Shep could still control herself, makes the prize so much sweeter in the end.



Ps also love that pic, one of my fave scenes in the game, don't think it shows Kaidan being forward though as Shep pretty much has to tell him to let go a little but *dreamy sigh* the nearly kiss

The worst thing is that at certain points in several conversations Shepard says things that would make every Cerberus member proud, "Cerberus isn't so bad.", "Cerberus is right this time." or "Cerberus is the only one doing anything.".

Hmm tricky question, I think she'll have to make the first move, I see awkwardness something like Shep saying 'about your

email.....' Kaidan starting at the same sort of time 'i understand if you're mad at me......' both stop and look at each other, maybe a shy smile and then they talk.

It's one of Akodo's. You have to use the flycam. Found this post from a while back:

• Toggle flycam with F12

Mind that if you want do screenshots with this method, you must always disable GUI and high quality bloom effects (And this is the part I don't remember, it's probably in BIOEngine.ini, find Quality Bloom=TRUE, turn to FALSE, should make the black trimming over the screen dissapear, as well as some lighting effects - screens will seem "sharper", for good or worse).
When those two options are on, it will totally mess the screenshots up like this one.

You can also change the number (3) that multiplies the resolution of the screenshot, but don't overdo it. Remember that taking the sceenshot with this method takes a while.

There was also an option to "freeze" the game, use flycam+screens, but I don't know this one.

Flycam tends to get crazy. Should have send it by PM, but maybe someone else want to do this.

For ME2 just download this.

That's actually sort of how Avery and Kaidan started off their reunion in my fic. So I agree with you. Though there was a crisis right away that interrupted their reunion.

@Jade5233: Kaidan has same model as mShep and other human males. The trick is to set another person higher/lower than the other. When you use a flycam, you see those kind of things

omg, i LOVE marge shepard, akodo. i'm quite partial to my own kyrie, but for someone else's shep, i love marge. she's pretty, but she actually looks like someone who could kick ass all over the galaxy. but then these HUGE soulful eyes. okay, i'm getting all femshep thread off topic.

Playing as my Kaidan-looking mShep is interesting. Heck. On Ilium, women are hitting on him left and right! That Parasini woman gives him a kiss on the cheek. Shiala hits on him a little. Then he gets a big kiss from Liara.

But you were right about the encounter with Liara as a romanced mShep. You get a big kiss, but then she's just like she was with femShep. Perhaps that was because she was in love with Shep either way, even if she was not the chosen LI? But the seeming cold friendliness is harsh in its own way--like she's like everyone on your darn ship--they just want something you can do for them. I guess as awful as the Horizon encounter is, you never get the impression that the VS doesn't care or that they are trying to use you for their own gain. The ME1 LI experiences are harsh on both sides, I guess--until LotSB. I sure hope we get to work a little of our differences out with Kaidan in some DLC.



Also we had that speculation about Liara's father from those SB vids. And I never really picked up before how Matriarch Aethyta talks about having had a pure blood daughter, but it didn't work out with the mother.



I think I should probably put a Kaidan photo in since I got a little off topic there...

Also, I always got the impression that Kaidan and femShep didn't really get that much time alone together between Citadel and the destruction of Normandy SR-1. I mean, Kaidan does say in his email that he isn't sure what the night before Ilos meant. I feel like them getting it on happened ONCE, and then nothing much happened after that.

Non-A/U Ella smacks him upside the head, then refuses to let him leave until he admits he still loves her.   Most of my other Shepards are much more conflicted.  And less prone to, well, vanguard-crazies, and would probably have the awkward silence "um" thing going on.

(Speaking of Ella, Lost for Words is finally getting updated, though this particular chapter has already bene posted on dArt.  New stuff should be up tomorrow, yay!)

And ridiculously cute, so even if it's been shared in the many pages I missed lately, I'm subjected y'all to it again:



eta@Fenris: I also think they managed a little bit of time together, and the email references just Ilos due to gameplay restraints, and because it was the most important time they had together emotionally. Not exclusive, just pivotal, so to speak.

I can kind of see both sides. On one hand, they could have been too busy to mess around again or they could have decided to wait until they went on leave so they wouldn't mix things up with duty any more than they already had.



On the flip side, they were out in the Terminus systems looking for geth for a few weeks so there could have been a lot of down time for things to happen. It's very possible that the night before Ilos was extra special because that was when they put everything out in the open (heh).



I'm not sure which is the case though. IMO they're both very probable scenarios.
